It's a g37 coupe with the r35 manifold. Unfortunately ours is a bit offset from the existing opening, so we can run a 4" straight pipe through like the 350z can.

How do they plan on piping the cold air side to the drivers manifold??

I've thought of similar for the air filter, but would order a BeCool rad that is perhaps 3" narrower so the entire rad support on the drivers side can be relocated out of the way and have a straight shot into the blower.

It also wouldn't be terribly difficult to make a new SC bracket to slide it a little further outward. Move the fuse box and would have a good few inches. Just need a longer SC belt on the backside, rest would stay the same. Could address that Mickey Mouse Stillen tensioner at the same time.

I had read somewhere that these were not needed. Does it effect cold starts on a cold morning? I live in Colorado. One day it will be 80 degrees and the next it will be 20 degrees and starting to snow (yes I drive this car in snow.... less than 1" though, anything more and my front end will turn into a snow plow)

I live in Calgary; pretty much same weather, including the erratic weather patterns. Not an issue in the slightest.

Removing coolant lines to TBs is one of the first things any Z32 owner ever did. And when I went to move the TBs onto the Stillen Manifold, I removed them again on the Z34, zero issues. Our lowest temps in Sydney would be around -1c or -2c.

Any of you guys using an Oil Catch Can on this set up (Air 2 Air)? I'm wanting to install a catch and looking for some advice of what brand and type to go with considering our piping and the Stillen manifold Set up.

Do you really think it makes any difference in performance at all?
I have read elsewhere that it doesn't and is therefore totally unnecessary.

Hah, course it does f*ck all for performance. Never claimed it was for that reason. It's purely to declutter and remove irrelevant systems, and in this case also remove one more potential point of failure, such as a coolant leak. Could be argued that's a stretch but I don't care.

Had to re-up my membership, it must have expired overnight. All good now

I ended up putting smaller pcv filters on the front 3/8 barbs and it seems to have made a difference. Of course it's been raining ever since so haven't been able to stretch its legs to really find out, but it's getting into boost much lower and with less pedal. Actually it's running a bit smoother too.

I was getting 5-6 psi at 7800 RPMs before and now it seems I'm getting 5 by 6000. At least as much as I've been able to ascertain without really getting on it. Low end is definitely improved. Once it clears up I'll have a more definitive take on it.
