So is mine, but specifically off that tiny port off the runner for Cylinder 1.

I'll look up the email if I still have it to be sure, but I queried Sebastian on what normal should be and his response was -19 to -24

Mine sort of runs that range. -21, -22 is more or less the norm but when things are really warmed up can see -24. I have a spare BOV and have been curious to swap it and see if it makes a difference. Will be changing again though when Topz kit gets here so haven't bothered with it.

Same outlet as you guys, tee'd off the reference line.

Need to fix a faulty relay/fuel pump that died on me last night on my way home first though otherwise it will be sitting just shy of zero no matter what!

The complete kit price looks like it will be $160 plus shipping.

The kit will have the following:
1ea. Custom made 6061 aluminum spacer
1ea. 12mmx1.75x50mm grade 8 bolt
1ea. 12mm washer
1ea. K081088HD belt modified to 7 rib
1ea. 54mm idler pulley

Please don't send in any orders just yet. I'm pretty much swamped until June with other work commitments (I'm in high demand this time of the year).
Tbatt....Did u make this kit because of ur belt slip? Did u get an increase on boost? Any Pros or Cons...or just Pros?

Upgraded to the Tial and got the new 60* piping from Topz....Much better fit and a big improvement to the kits design....fits like a glove with no fighting the 45* coupler to the Volute. Thnx TopgunZ for the upgrade. The Tial is amazing....here are some pics....

Bottom view of the 60* going to blower

That Tial Though...

Looks good!

Might want to face the tial the other way. The air coming out is very hot and will heat up your intercooler.

I was and still have a low boost problem. One idea was the belt was slipping and sure enough, when I took a temperature reading of the drive pulley it was about 50 degrees cooler after installing the additional idler which means the pulley was heating up due to slipping. I picked up some boost but the main problem is that I need to install the volute at a better angle. Right now I have a 90 degree elbow at the SC outlet and I think that is what is restricting the SC.

I was one of the first to install the A2A kit and did so without the instructions. By the time I had the instructions I was too far along to go back as time was running out on my build. This June the plan is to get back to work on the car and fix the volute position and also go to the 60 degree coupler and 2.75 downpipe along with a Tial BOV. I'll also be doing some improvements on the fuel pump. Got a bunch of CJM stuff to install.

After that I hope to finish up with Seb on the tune. The car runs and drives fine but the boost is still below 8psi and I'm running the 9psi pulley.

I've been reading up on SC and it seems that TopZ is correct in his design of his kit. SC do not like abrupt air flow changes at the intake or exhaust ports. It screws up the flow and can cause back pressure issues (what I'm pretty sure the 90 degree elbow is causing). TopZ design of using the air filter directly on the SC allows for a good straight shot into the intake and the original 45 degree coupler on the outlet does a good job of keeping the flow as straight out of the SC as possible given the room to work with.

Ok, guys. I've been getting lots of inquiries about the kit so I have stuck my neck out and ordered enough to do four kits. I'll make the spacers this Friday and the rest of the parts should be here early next week if not before. The cost per kit is $160 plus shipping.

This may seem like a lot for what it is but the parts are expensive and the time to source everything isn't free. The nice thing is that you won't have to scrounge all of this up, you will only have to open a box and install.

I found a source for SS 12mm bolts so that is what the kit will include. Only the best for our Zs.

Damnit, I spent over half a year trying to find a pulley spacer for the 54mm pulley. I eventually had to get a machine shop to custom make one...

Not sure if someone asked this before, but any tips on cutting the extra rib off that belt or do I just take a utility knife to it?

Yes, you can do it with a utility knife. Just use a new blade and make each cut about six inches long and about 1/16 inch deep. It will take several cuts to get all the way through. The HD belt is tough!

I'm working on a design that will cut the rib off on my lathe so it will be really clean and straight.

I would have gladly paid for it, so I wouldn't have had to go to 10+ NAPAs to find out that no one knows what a pulley spacer is

The first pulley I bought I had the twenty questions to go through at the counter, "what car is this for?". Then, you are using for this for WHAT? Take them out to the parking lot and open the hood and the HOLY ****! reaction. Made my day!

And yes, I was tired of going here and there to get maybe one part and then having to special order the parts too. I'm just trying to make my and your life a little easier.

Haha, well I kept skipping that step and told them it was for a Mercedes-Benz GL350 because their website showed that the part is compatible with that car.

I only had one shop know what a pulley spacer was, but no one could find the part for it even though I bought the pulley itself at NAPA.

Done that a ton of times over the years for the parts jockeys that can't look anything up without listing a vehicle.

Are these kits all bought already? Thanks for taking the time to explain all of that TBatt.....One more question.....will this set up cause the S/C to overspin from its rated 52K RPM?
