To me, "fast"=top speed, "quick"=acceleration rate. A car that can reach 150mph might be considered fast, even if it takes awhile to achieve it, while a car that can go

To me, "fast"=top speed, "quick"=acceleration rate. A car that can reach 150mph might be considered fast, even if it takes awhile to achieve it, while a car that can go 0 to 60 in 4 seconds might be considered quick, even if it's top speed is only 100mph.
