The boost controller, do you need to see it constantly? I know many people have it hidden in the passenger cubby area so they can reach it but easily hidden.
I could throw it in the center console, but I can see myself using the launch control quite a bit, and if I have to keep opening and closing the lid I can see myself hating that spot. This way I can easily just turn it on. Looking at the picture again maybe ill try moving it up above the VDC button instead.

As far as the boost controller I am thinking I am going to use it as a boost gauge as well, that way I free up a gauge to monitor something else. I am assuming that the EVC will show a more realtime boost as the PLX gauge is routing in a air line from the engine bay. I know people will usually stick it right between the hazard and S mode buttons as well.

It took me foever to find the right spot for my cell phone and radar detector mountings

I put my cell right on the forward right side of my shifter lever. My dash is not cluttered but its right there when I need it. This might work for you to...

I like that! I might have to do that if I decide I dont like where it is now. It would be a good spot for the traction control box. I have some similar metal I could use to do the same thing.

Yeah, tough since you have the heated seat switches, can put one item there in the base.
Crazy idea, maybe wire it up to the headliner area where the two lights are? There is already a slight bulge but I am not sure how thick those two units are.

The Racelogic is pretty thick, the EVC not so much but thats getting a bit to involved for me. I was thinking about putting the EVC above the mirror but then cord length would be an issue as you would have to go around the windshield and down the pillar. The way I have them now I can easily move them with minimal work so ill try them out and if I dont like it I can move them somewhere else.

Thanks,

I spent an hr and a half today fighting with the wiring for the traction control, finally got it all together and tucked out of the way of the passengers feet. I am hoping to have it all together by the weekend, we will see if that happens. Seems everytime I plan to go work on it something comes up and I have to put it off.

A Couple runs...

This is with the non resonated FI exhaust and the single blow off valve on the hot side of the intercooler.

It was my first real time taking it out on the highway this morning, it is pretty droney unfortunately but ill get used to it, the GF on the other hand, I guess we'll see. She doesn't have much choice, haha.

Shes going in for 3M tonight after work at European auto tinting, which is why I took it in with me this morning.

The drone can be an issue with the FI exhaust, hence why I like my HKS! There are a few people that have done mods to the system to add resonation pipes to cance the drone. I will look for the threads....

At European, mention to Rob (Owner) that you are a member of the Z Car Club and were recommended to go there for a possible discount... I got my car done there too....
Plus check out the 3M DiNoc material he has there.... cool stuff to play with. I just did my door switch plates and it looks really good!

Yeah, but it just sounds sooo good. James at the res pipes on his FI and he took them off. I am curious to see what he thinks of the noise difference in the car. I cant imagine what it would have been like without all the matting I put in the car.

I will see if they will give me some sort of Z club discount, I am also going to make sure that they know I want the car stored inside and that they should not have the leave the lot with it. Just a wee bit nervous leaving it, the only other person that had it was Sasha.

ummm.... I never leave the shop while it's being worked on.... anywhere I take it! lol

The resonation tubes get mounted at the canisters on the mufflers, not in the midpipe. Like I said, they are helmholz resonators like the grenades on my HKS...
