I purchased the kit about a 2 month ago. And finally got the chance to get it installed. The before and after is night and day. The car runs much smoother, especially in the low rpm. I do feel the car has more torque in the lower rpm.
The tune with stillen kit with only frozen boost exchanger made 345whp if I remember correctly. The tune with this air to air kit made 368whp on a conservative tune for lap days. There is more power to be made, but a conservative tune gives piece of mind at the track. Please note the dyno reads extremely low. We did run into some issues with the y pipe which is all fixed now. Still trying to figure out where it went wrong with TopGunz. Will update once we figure it out. Also, for anyone who wants to install fast intention crash bar, it fits! I'm very happy with the results. And want to thank TopGunz for putting together the kit that makes stillen kit so much more desirable! Last edited by nismo 1234; 03-03-2017 at 11:46 PM. |

I think I will eventually do pulley and injector once I crave for more power haha.
Here quick videos from the dyno. I didn't get a chance to see my car on the dyno so the videos were taken by the shop https://youtu.be/Dq66PuWxU04 https://youtu.be/2OjYeYtmwTo |

These are still impressive numbers for being on the lowest psi setup possible.

Hey Topz...Would you happen to be able to order a coupler for my Bank 1 (Front Side) on the Y-Pipe. The Y-pipe was tight putting it on and I have experience having the coupler pop out during boost due to the coupler being slightly short due to the tight fit. Maybe having the coupler another 1.5 inches to 2 inches long would be perfect.....at least for my set up. Refer to my pic.

If you are able to twist the Y pipe by just a tiny amount to the right it would bring that side of the pipe closer to the TB. You would need to loosen the 90* coupler on the bottom so it can turn in there a bit which shouldnt throw that side off as its mostly flush. This would also require you to loosen the Y pipe side of the 45* coupler also. Which kind of sucks because you will need to take your bumper off to get to that unless you can reach up from you front bumper if you have something like the stillen bumper. Not sure. However, to get an entirely new coupler on there you will most likely have to do the same anyways.
You do drive a 370 right? I know the G37 guys have issues with that area.

Yes I am in a 370....but Ive cut enough for the bottom of the Y-Pipe area than I'm comfortable with..Cutting anymore would leave nothing lol.....take a look at reference pics of bottom side of Y Pipe. ![]()

Have you tried hairspray on the coupler? It'll make it stick and might solve your problem. |

By clocking it to the right just a tad shouldnt require you to have to trim anymore shroud. We are talking like 1 or 2 degrees here and that should be enough to push that pipe closer to the TB.

Just got back from dyno days at ESTUNED, they run a all wheel Mustang dyno. Very hot day in the low 90's when I made my run.
Numbers were 366WHP and 289TQ very flat TQ curve and a ridiculously linear HP curve. This is with 8 lb boost and very conservative tune. |
