MKG's Custom Single Turbo Build

Just going to leave this right here... See what you think Cody..

Quick 5 minute PS work. I added exhaust tips in the center vents of the Amuse kit. Although the 3 exit exhaust might look okay, from this picture, I wasn't 100% sold on it. Thought I'd fab up something completely original that I've never seen before in the 500 million Amuse kits I've seen rolling around...

The tips are IN the rear kit, similar to the way the McLaren MP4-12C tips are.

Nowwww that is something to consider. Hmmm..I will need to give this more though for sure. I do love me the mp412c.

Not trying to throw a wrench in your build if you've already got a plan, just saw that pic, and that idea struck me. Since you're in a position to actually move forward with it, figured I'd pitch it your way.

Update:

Havent really done much to the car. Been FREAKIN BUSY. Work/school for the both of us sucks up too much time.lol

But this weekend should see progress. Intercooler piping and maf flanges should be done. Wastegate and bov should be done, exhaust tip should be done soon as well plus some other odds and ends. Will also be purchasing my tune from Visconti in the next week or two.

Update. Car is really coming together. Exhaust is 100% done. IC piping just needs fully tigged now. Gauges are mostly setup just need mounted permanently.

And I KNOW that the zipties on my wrap will melt...They were just for the picture as we are waiting on hose clamps. I had like 5 people on facebook warn me about that...idiots.lol

Thanks! I'm really liking how everything is coming together. Its pretty close to what we had initially planned. I would def like to see some other boosted Zs its a shame they are kinda rare. Once mine is road tested and I know its stable I should be making some road trips with it so you never know.

Looking good! I had my intercooler flipped vertically compared to yours, but that's because of my turbo location. Cheers to wanting to go fast!

Yeah that's how most of the singles seem to be. Very limited space on these cars. So how long til the snake is turbo'd?

Yeah, you really don't have any other options due to space.

Not anytime soon...I'm still crying from my 2 engine rebuilds. I should be happy with my heads/cam car though once it's tuned.

LOL I cant say I blame you. I would be a little hesitant myself. I just know they are even more beastly when boosted. My buddy has a 1100whp, its kinda ridiculous.lol
