Update on the Carbon Z:

May 1st is the Dyno Day to look forward to. Right now the car has a RJM "Race" 4.3L Stroker Motor and a fully built RJM trans which has been holding up fantastic. The Supercharger is a "High Pressure unit" and is running a 3.5" pulley. There is a 2.8" pulley to be put on the car for High Boost Applications. the 3.5" pulley should net somewhere around ~18psi. If my math is correct the 2.8" pulley should be approximately ~28-30psi!!!

The car has been undergoing other upgrades and fixes on work from other vendors and shops. The car is expected to be at Zdayz again this year.

I will post up any new information I get.

On a separate note I should have some updates on hood cowls next week.

Bobby is on a flight out to California to do an install right now. Eugene is tuning the car on ecutek and we should have some numbers this weekend again on a stock car Basic build.

The carbon Z is already seeing 17-18psi by 3000rpm... big advantage over other kits is boost is immediate and the power under the curve is more.

There was another successful install over the weekend and several people stopped by to have a look at the kit and install. This time on a car with stock cats. Ken is enjoying the kit and hopefully we will get some updates from him here on the forums.

Bobby flew out to California to train Eugene Turkov and to show others how easy this install is.

We know it at least comes with “Step 1” because there is a video for it.
“Take hammer to whipple. Beat on it till some parts pop off. Mail whatever comes off to Bobby. Wait for Bobby to do his thing and ship it back”

I think this was why the term “Turn Key” always showed up in quotes when the kit was finally released.

https://youtu.be/UuCCBlN0hvo

Looks like “Step 2” from his videos is “Fly Bobby in to install kit”. Even though it was also stated that

“It will be set for 500+whp out of the box. The goal is to maintain a 4 hour install time with hand tools in a garage with the car on the ground.”

I’m guessing that should have been in quotes too.

I lasted 15 seconds, probably he worse video for a install I’ve ever seen. “Hit it on the angle, put it in cardboard, put it between your legs” wtf!!! This is complete garbage, literally a laughing stock.
