Z1 routinely deletes negative reviews from what I can tell. I've had a couple deleted and know several others that have experienced the same thing.

Personally I have only had poor quality parts from Z1 and am told to shut up because everyone thinks Z1 is god. I feel bad for you the brace didn't work but when I read it's a direct fit for the 350Z and you need to unbolt the diff for the 370Z, I knew corners were cut. They used the same piece for two different applications to save costs. Shame

Bell Raceworks makes a slightly different brace for those with stock diff covers. I'll let you all know how that one fits (if it does) when I install it.

Interesting....Z1 states (in my question via their website and Instagram) that, although specifically designed for the Z1 diff cover, the same brace does fit OEM and Nismo diff covers. So I am surprised there is actually a slightly different version of this brace specifically designed for the OEM cover.

My guy put my car up on the rack when he was prepping it for it's next round of magic from Seb and looked at a way to modify the brace to work with the FI exhaust. He said he would have had to hack off so much material on the brace that it wouldn't be structurally strong enough to do any good. When I get my car back from Seb he's going to fabricate one from scratch.

Jeebus, this was supposed to be a simple bolt-on

Here's a good pic of the diff and sub-frame. You could make a brace that's goes over the top of the diff, top 4 bolt holes. and bolt to the top of the sub-frame. That would really lock the diff into place. But you would have to drop the sub- frame to install it. Something many are not willing to do.
Chit, now I have an idea running loose inside my head.

Has your comment been “approved”? I only see one good review on Z1’s website.
