I think you have the strongest N/A car on the boards, congrats...for now. Don't pop the champ till Sat

![]() Just looked at his dyno graph...he removed the mufflers and was getting over 300whp stock? Sounds like an awfully high baseline to start with, all subsequent #'s suspect? Sorry if this has been rehashed before, I realize it's an old thread.

![]() I'm just pointing out that there are other NA cars on this forum posting good numbers. Let's leave it at that.

How did Sharif up the rev limiter? From what I understand from reading on here and talking to the guys at UpRev, you can't do that?
From watching my two buddy's dyno pulls with their Z's, they all shut down at around 7500 rpm. |

Wish I still had my HFC for this high horsepower competition lol. I get mine done tomorrow and will update then. Only problem is I also will be getting my G3 installed also and haven't had a baseline on the dyno at UpRev. I did 274.8 or something like that on a DD at EngineLogics in Houston with just the FI exhaust and stock everything else including cats so hopefully this will be a bit better with the cooler weather helping even more !

6hp is still quite respectable!
The peak hp gain shouldn't be our biggest concern here anyway, it's what was gained THROUGHOUT the rev range. I'd be interested to see the before and after graph's superimposed on each other cos I bet the reason the car feels like its got more than 6hp is because lower down in the rev range it has. Even if there were zero increase in peak hp but bigger gains throughout the rest of it i'd be stoked! |

Oops, sorry my bad - the dyno graphs didn't show up on the computer at work and have just had a gander at them at home. Looks like you've gained a heap of torque below 3250rpms, that alone is worth getting the tune done.

Hmm...I'm not 100% sure on the low-end torque gain. From the graph, it kinda looks like Sharif went WOT at an earlier rpm on the two post-tune runs than he did on the baseline run. About 500 rpm earlier, actually. That alone might account for the higher torque at 3000 rpm; the engine was simply spooled up already at that point. On the other hand, a real gain in low-end torque would account for my butt-dyno impressions.

He bumped it up to 8000, said I can use it at my discretion. He didn't run all the way to 8000 on the dyno though, I'm noticing.
