I think you have the strongest N/A car on the boards, congrats...for now. Don't pop the champ till Sat

I think Phimosis actually has the highest numbers on the board for an NA car right now -- 343whp. Induction parts + ECU reflash dyno results

343whp =

Just looked at his dyno graph...he removed the mufflers and was getting over 300whp stock? Sounds like an awfully high baseline to start with, all subsequent #'s suspect? Sorry if this has been rehashed before, I realize it's an old thread.

Right . . . I'm not all that familiar with the dyno he did his tuning on, and I don't really want to get into a debate about the 'worthiness' of his numbers. Threads like that don't typically end well, people get bent out of shape, etc.

I'm just pointing out that there are other NA cars on this forum posting good numbers. Let's leave it at that.

How did Sharif up the rev limiter? From what I understand from reading on here and talking to the guys at UpRev, you can't do that?

From watching my two buddy's dyno pulls with their Z's, they all shut down at around 7500 rpm.

You can raise the rev limiter, we don't suggest it. More so on the VHR motors. You don't just buy parts from the corner store to rebuild those heads. Nissan only sells the heads as a complete assembly and they are way out of line considering what the retail on the entire car is.

If you want to raise the rev limit to gain more power on the VQ motors, just do yourself the favor and have cash available to rebuild the motor when it grenades. As long as you understand that, the VHR motor makes power till well over 8k rpm.
