Saturday is a good one after a week out of town. Thinking about shopping for a Juke tomorrow, maybe, for the Mrs. |
Hey guys! Sorry I've been kinda silent over the last couple of days. It's been pretty busy at work and by the time I've gotten home I just want to relax with my lovely wife, eat some dinner and enjoy an adult beverage! :)
I've been pretty unhappy since I realized that I have a monstrous chip on the hood of my car, so today I'm going to pull the trigger on Dr. Colorchip. I just feel like I'm going to :barf: every time I look at it. I'm pretty nervous to try these types of solutions, but I figure....it can't look any worse than bare metal. Boost - Congrats on the new exhaust! What kind did you get? Mr. Onzedge - Welcome home! I'm sure the Mrs. is glad to have you back! My wife LOVES the Juke and would love to have it as a DD, using the Xterra only as needed. Fire - I'm sorry to hear about the long shift! You're a firefighter, right? There's always a chance you won't get called out, right? :) |

I just feed mine last night, we are paying $1.42/ltr for 91 in here, the price just went up again today, I think we are paying $1.45/ltr today. How much I paid last night?? $90ish for 64ltrs. :ugh2: You guys feel better now?? :icon18: |

I'm little busy in the store today, selling lots of eyeglasses, LOL My Z got all dirty by the rain last night :shakes head:, need to have it dry-clean :icon17: |
Im all right. Thinking about getting off my lazy butt and going out to wash her down in preparation for movie nite with the little lady.
|
happy sat, everyone!
no car action today... been busy doing kid's pta stuff and running errands... picked up a cool computer speaker at target. :p it's this logitec one that hangs on the backside of my mbp's screen. sounds very good for wat it is. :D |
Ken, I picked up one of these for use with my iPhone, and find the sound to be so amazing that I use it for my laptop as well! It has a rechargeable lithium ion battery and comes in a soft bag (similar to what Oakleys come in).

Hey boost, where'd you get your Dr. Colorchip? Auto Geek?

Maybe, but what is a litre? why do I think I need to find an old math book to decipher? Ok so if Alcheng paid $1.42/ltr and there are 3.79 litres in 1 gallon what is that price per gallon?? Is the answer $5.38??? |

I got a set for mine and a set for a black (OBP) STi and they were both great. Only thing is that you'll get swirls after using it on black, but nothing that a light swirl remover cant handle by hand. |

Yup, I paid about$90 last night for 16.89 gallons. |

Just stepped out two minutes and thirty seconds ago (the additional 30 secs was to wash the oil off my hands) and swapped out my stock filters for K&N drop-ins. Easiest two minute upgrade I've ever done. :excited: Now what to do with the stickers.....? Maybe I'll put 'em on my laptop. Not bad for ~$80 as I recall! |
mr.happy- that a cool looking speaker you got there! :D almost looks like a car freshner thingie.
mr.gurney-car's looking good. |
It not only looks cool, it sounds amazing for its compact size. Head to your nearest Bed Bath and Beyond out there in the middle part of the US and they should have one on display for you to listen to.

Dyno your Z before and after the stickers... :bowrofl: |
First impression: Is it strange that my exhaust sounds quieter now that I have the K&N drop-ins in place? I think I must be going crazy. Anybody have a similar experience?

Hey guys,
Just walked in the door! Guess what came in?? PWJDM V2 Shiftknob! Wooooooo Curious to ask you guys... How many o rings is it supposed to come with? There's only 1... |
ARK exhaust installed today! Had it installed professionally. The packaging was excellent. Fitment was a little rough. Overall, VERY satisfied. It sounds and looks awesome.
