I look forward to hearing your results and I hope that you are taking photos when you do the work. Good luck, man. You are doing a good thing.

My prob is the shop I trust with my alignments is far away, plus their alignment costs about $120. I prob wont take too many pics as I never post DIYs. I wish I started a journal before all my parts installs.

Gmorning guys :hello:

My day is off to a great start. As soon as my eyes opened this morn I got a text from my buddy saying everything is a go for my parts install Saturday. We were supposed to have access to a lift but it fell through. He called to tell me screw it we are doing it in his driveway:tup: Wont be as easy but it will still be just as fun. The install will consist of the following....

Koni Yellows :excited:
StopTech slotted rotors
Project Mu type NS pads
Z1 SS brakelines
Stillen sway bars
Diff oil change to Eneos
Upgrading to Motul RBF600 brake fluid.
I also have some Eneos engine oil but may wait till right before ZDAYZ to do that:tup:

Should be a long day of work. Looking very forward to it!!

that is a very :yum: list you got there. Let us know how the ride feels after and how the brakes are.

rep for awesome mods!

Mr.Alchemy, glad to hear you are going to put in the goodies on your Z this week!! Your tranny is fixed, engine light is fixed, goodies getting on the Z, sounds like a good Z summer coming up fir you bro!!! :excited: :happydance:

I just left my Z to the dealership to have them replace the top and getting a rental. The dealer pays for the rental cos I have the extended warranty.

But I'm gonna be without the Z for couple days…… :icon14:

I was hoping for a Altima…… but the rental company gives me a Civic.

And while I was in the dealer parking lot, I saw a '80 Z280 Targa!! Dark Blue, pretty good condition. Didn't get a chance to take a pic but it was amazed to see a good shape classy.

congrats on the garage! most 22yr olds dont have their own garage so you're already waaay ahead. :D
