yes for now I will be running on IWG my brother can hold 25+ psi IWG in his cummins controllably; I see no reason why I couldn't do the same in my VHR. At some point though, yes, I will switch over to EWG as well as to a traditional BoV to get all my "turbo" noises. But for now; stealth and fast those are the two goals.

It just seems out of place to build in a bottleneck like that in an otherwise fantastic build. My thought is that the wgs will start to blow open long before you want them to. Just go Ewg and recirc them for the stealth factor.

Ive just been very lazy to getting around to documenting it lately and I kinda wanted to have more to show you guys but im not really sure where to put the rest of the pictures. I really with there was a way I could get more on my profile albums but to my knowledge there isn't.

you just MIGHT see it on the 25th Steve; I'm undecided yet.

they are high boost wastegate actuators chuck. 17lb spring in them and good to 32 lbs of boost on a controller. It takes me about 45 minutes to 1hr to pull the motor from the car so if I run into issues with them down the road then ill be hasteful to get them ironed out. I have no issues with going EWG just to my knowledge right now the EFR only comes IWG turbine so it would take quite a bit of reverse engineering at this point

Ah. Didn't realize those were the EFRs. Makes more sense now.

yep if it was the 6262s I was planning on running or had I gone with 3076s I would be running EWG, but like I say right now im kind of hand tied by the lack of options for exhaust housings currently available for these turbos via BW so my only way to combat it was to source BW's high boost actuators

well I should have SOME sort of results for you guys this Tuesday. right now our main concern is fueling for the car. after doing some Bernoulli's math on the single 485 it shows on paper to only be good for about 720whp on ethanol, so to combat it I installed an "inline" 255 to bring me up to (theoretically) 177gph of fuel delivery. Herein lies the catch though; there is question as to whether I only merely created a bottleneck in the system by doing so. Once again "theoretically" it should work because were not talking about check valve pumps here our fuel pumps are centrifugal in operation and always pumping. the idea is that both pumps will "piggyback" one another to supply the fuel necessary to reach our hp goal here, but everyone I have spoken with is really unsure what the outcome will be because no one has tested it. Everyone just does a dual or triple in tank setup and calls it a day.

So, I guess what I'm getting at here guys is results could be as expected, but on the flip side they could be disheartening; I really don't know what to expect at this point. Without knowing anyone to turn to whom has real world experience with this I am just kind of playing the waiting game. I have left a lot of the trials and tribulations of the turbo kit part out at the moment, but lets just say: as stubborn as this build has been I'm preparing for the worst. if it does end up becoming a bottle neck though I can say that I will replace the section of fuel line that was removed and just tune to 700 wheel on e85 following which I will be calling Charles to get a twin in tank pump built up which I have no question will meet/surpass any needs I have for power goals out of this car. I'm afraid if I push any more than 850 the car might as well just be a damn dyno queen.
