I'm looking to monitor boost with the Zeitronix ZT-2 and plan on using their MAP sensor. Is there a spare 1/8 NPT bung on the Stillen Intake Manifold? If not would, there be any issues with just welding one on the cover plate from where the water/air intercooler used to be?

Why not use the map sensor to monitor boost? I usually do a custom gauge dashboard to show boost with ecutek.

If you use the map sensor to compute the boost, you will also be able to easily log it to plot your boost with other attributes.

Are you asking why I don't use the primary MAP sensor instead of installing another? I'm not sure if what I'm doing is redundant to Ecutek's capabilities since I'm pretty unfamiliar with it. My purpose for the ZT-2 is that I don't want additional gauges, just a small All in One LCD with alarm & failsafe relay capability tucked away under the dash with a persistent logger. It already has fuel pressure, oil pressure, afr, coolant temp, etc so it'll show all my sensors once I find a solution for mounting their MAP sensor. If I can just tie the Omni into it then that would be even better, but I don't know if I can do that.

I can do it for you if you need help with this.

You can set Ecutek up to do this, or are you talking about mounting the sensor for me?

I can TIG weld the bung on or drill & tap it if the cover plate is thick enough. My unfamiliarity is solely with if that location will be suitable to mount the spare MAP sensor and whether or not Ecutek can do everything the ZT-2 can.
