I am worried that if I am only making much boost and getting much more power higher in the RPM range, I will rarely feel it since I am hardly up there in normal driving. Can you guys feel much difference in the 3k range?

I wish I could remember, but my car has been in the body shop for months, so my memory is a bit hazy. I'm going to say you'll only have 1-2 pounds at that range. When you want power, it will come to you and the power is very linear, so there's no drop-off.

Another benefit to the Si impeller that TopGunz mentioned is that along with the extra boost, it will kick in sooner as well.

I'm running stock gearing and what I have noticed is that the SC starts to build boost at about 3Krpm. When cruising at ~80mph the BOV flutters a little and the boost gauge is showing 0psi which means that the SC is supplying more air than the engine needs at 3Krpm. So, if you drive mildly and shift before 3K you won't notice much difference with the exception of the ECUTEC tune which gives you a hyper throttle response (which makes the car feel much more responsive to the throttle). So if you want to go fast make sure you are in the upper rpm range where the SC can push some air. I have also noticed that the rpm drops by 1.5K rpm from each gear change so if you are shifting at redline your next gear up the engine will be right at 6K which is still making a lot of HP.

Anyway you look at it BOOST will put a big grin on your face and lay some rubber on the road!
