Anyone install a high-output alternator in their Z?

You shouldn't need to upgrade the alt with just 1k..the stock alt did well for me with 2k..I didn't have optimum voltage but I was dropping into the 11s either..I'm

You shouldn't need to upgrade the alt with just 1k..the stock alt did well for me with 2k..I didn't have optimum voltage but I was dropping into the 11s either..I'm running like 12k watts not with a 270amp and 2 lithium batteries

You're running 12kw in a 370Z?

I'm planning to put a VXI 1000/5i in mine
Do you guys think I need an upgraded alternator? I think the whole system is probably going to be under 100 amps.
