Regards,

Yes we are able to improve the pedal feel. We normally see 7-8rwhp less on a High Flow catted car. No check engine lights.

Attached is my dyno with the Z1 powermod (manifold not 400hp kit) pre and post tune. The tune was a touchup tune. The car was previously tuned for the same mods listed below.

Mods:
Z1 post maf tubes w/stock filters.
NST pulley's
F.I. CBE
Stock Cats

This was by far the best mod I have purchased. It really beefs up the midrange, which makes the car more enjoyable to drive around town, while maintaining top end power. I will say that the exhaust tone changed a bit in a positive way: slightly bassier tone at idle and a noticeable throaty sound at WOT. From the results of the dyno sheet, I highly recommend you get a tune after installing this to get the full potential out of it.

I am assuming I am a few HP higher than this now with k&n drop ins. I cant find the sheet but the car made 304hp with Cosworth filters. Changing them to new(ish) stock filters netted +4-5hp.

How much for just the manifold?

So the only difference between the 2 pulls in your dyno is the manifold and re-tune ( already had it tuned before for existing mods)? Wow, looks too good to be true.

The big question is how this thing does compared to the motordyne manifold

If z1 offers this by itself, I might pick it up and let you all know.

To be clear the first run and baseline is with the manifold installed with my old tune, and the second line is the end result of the manifold + tuning.

On a different day, with different exhaust and intakes the car made 285 whp with the m370 on this dyno. The dyno sheet is in the m370 thread results post look for the one titled Daisuke.

It is not the best and clearest a + b = c dyno comparison but the gains are noticeable and worth it IMO.

It is on the website now: http://www.z1motorsports.com/g37_370...9ssec36vnpshl5

At that price it is a steal and definitely a better $ to HP ratio.

** edit **

On the website the second dyno sheet is m370 vs z1 powermod. The results speak for themselves.

Looks like it's available on their site by itself now, not just as part of the 400hp kit.

Is there a dyno with the average of the runs so we can more easily see the differences throughout the rpm range?

I'll ask Jon @z1 if he can send a more detailed sheet with the other runs.

So according to their testing about their modded vhr intakme manifold is a 9whp gain for 295$ + 220$ core charge if you dont return yours ....

So I wasnt to far off by asking 525 for a complete modified intake manifold.

edit ; oups... I thought on their website they did the stock VHR Intake manifold vs their modded one.. but it was the unmodified HR vs their modded one..

I would love to see an actual test with a modified HR vs their VHR ... I would still stand if about an HR modified could be superior 3500-7000whp

If the same modification on the HR intake manifold *m370* .. a very similar result will be gaining and will still remain the best for 3500-7000rpm
