I believe that shoulder harnesses must be mounted to a bar that is shoulder level. In other words, the harnesses must go straight back once they go over your shoulder. They cannot be anchored at an incline or any more than a minimal decline.

MAximum downwards incline is 15 degrees - per FIA standards for race restraints. I imagine SCCA has a similar standard

Thanks. I measured the stock bar, one way was 2.94" and the other was 2.84". Was trimming needed to get the plastic end caps to fit since 3" will be bigger?

It almost fits without trimming. I trim mine just alittle bit.
