Phunk thanks for all the hard work in developing this for us. I look forward to this season not having to top off and completing a session with less the 3/4 tank.

Default chassis ground points

Does anyone have a pic of exactly where the ground wire contacts the chassis? I dont get power to the pump and I want to rule out an incorrect chassis ground point. I drilled a hole in the metal panel where the seatbelt screws in...

Did you scrap any of the paint down to bare metal around the hole you drilled?

I drilled a hole in the same area. I also used a bolt with a self-locking nut to hold the ground wire in place.

No scraping metal just drilled a hole..maybe I should try that. Its the thin metal panel where the plastic panel pops into. Rusty- did you connect the large yellow pump(-) to the same ground as the relay black wire?

Sorry, I haven't had a chance yet to look and see inside the Z lately. Been busy with moving GF in with me. The only time I get to read the forum now, is at work.

Man I really hope these don't go away. Would hate to go back to zero off-the-shelf options for fuel starvation.

Re: the fuel pump ground, I just ran a short wire for that to a ring terminal, and then put that ring terminal on one of the 4 nuts on the very outer cover of the driver's side tank access plate (the one these wires are coming out of the grommet on). The grey paint all over everything in that area isn't very conductive, but the nut threaded on that post conducts fine:

Also, a trick worth sharing that really saved me some time/pain during the "Hard Part" in the instructions (hooking up the 3 hoses on the passenger side...): use little strips of duct tape to attach strings to the 3 hoses, and tie a nut to the other end of the strings to give them some weight so they don't get lost or sucked in easily. Then you can drop the hoses in the back/side of the tank, put in the canister, and then pull them back up into range via the strings. Then you can cut/remove the helper as you're installing each one:
