Actually, the engineering of this type of oil pan is no big deal (not to take anything away from it, because its well done and what is most important is that they actually DID it and built it). Its just getting the initial dimensions for the bolt pattern and etc. There is enough showing in the originally posted CAD photos to replicate the design no problem, or just make one from scratch using the same flapper system.
For me personally, I would not draw it or sell it, simply because I dont copy other peoples work. But for any CAD designer, making that pan would be no problem! |
