Unless you're truly after something else, it's really a case of giving it a chance. Good car, you know the previous owner. Basically you can't undo selling it, so least you can do is give yourself a fair shot at figuring out whether or not it will hold your interest.

I feel your pain.
 Got the Z. A heavily modded Power Wagon that I use off road. A 25th Anniversary Edition Honda VFR that at one time was super charged, has full Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes. A Grand Cherokee TrailHawk that is bone stock. And a 41ft diesel motorhome that cost more than a 488 Pista. Guns, and more guns. The only thing I'm missing is a boat.
