Default Recently acquired another ride and now I'm conflicted.

A little backstory. This year I started with 3 vehicles. My 14 Z, 10 Colorado and my 90 240sx that I've had around 3 years and never had the time to build. This year things really started to turn around for me but then I had too many options. I couldn't decide what to work on first and I didn't want to attempt to build both at the same. I ended up deciding that since I honestly wanted a 180sx. I'd sell the 240 and focus on getting the Z looking nice. THEN turn my attention to a 180sx get that going and then come back and boost the Z and pick up a beater of some sort to daily.

Simple enough right?

I sold the 240 and felt like a weight was lifted off of me. Then I started to go in on the Z and purchased wheels, suspension etc.

Well I ended up having a Pontiac G8 GXP fall into hands from family and this kinda throws off my plans lol.

I originally just wanted to have a 180sx and a boosted Z. Now I have a vehicle that's faster then both and don't know what to do with my life lol

Anyone else have similar situations or have to deal with having too many cars you want to play with?

Yeah, have 7 cars in a 3 person household here. And a farm. And a job that keeps me away from it all 60-70 hours a week (how do you think I can afford the above, otherwise). And live in a country with a 6 month “driving season” (we say 6 months of winter and 6 months of poor snowmobiling).

First world problems, for sure! LOL

When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.
When life throws you a Holden / G8, make race car! :-)

Congrats on the GXP. A unicorn among the G8 guys, and basically a E39 M5 without the expensive maintenance! Australian Supercar series was one of my favorite series also.

Definitely a first world problem but I guess a good one to have! It's just so difficult for me to focus when I have so many interests!

Best Quote Ever.

Thanks. I really didn't know how rare the GXP was. Apparently the GT is the far more common G8 option.

Unless you're truly after something else, it's really a case of giving it a chance. Good car, you know the previous owner. Basically you can't undo selling it, so least you can do is give yourself a fair shot at figuring out whether or not it will hold your interest.

I feel your pain. Got the Z. A heavily modded Power Wagon that I use off road. A 25th Anniversary Edition Honda VFR that at one time was super charged, has full Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes. A Grand Cherokee TrailHawk that is bone stock. And a 41ft diesel motorhome that cost more than a 488 Pista. Guns, and more guns. The only thing I'm missing is a boat.

Yeap, I know exactly where you are coming from. I have a 1975 Datusn 280zxt that I want to redo myself one day. Work has me so busy I have no time to work on it so it sits in the garage at home. If I had an extra 100k laying around I would pay someone else to do it. LOL

I sell the one I don't drive. Simple.
The "American M5" was/is a pretty cool car. Caveman simple, and still laying down the hate. Decent interior.
