Preferably a driver who hasn't already made up his mind before hand (or had the people sponsoring the test do it for him).

Ditto on the experiences. I've chased down and passed a GT3-RS, and been lapped by others. You cannot tell unless you know the driver.

Those stealthy well trained drivers in 'slower cars' like a Lotus Elise/S2000 do make others look somewhat 'amateur' at times. Have certainly endured that myself!!

Got this win out here in Daytona, brother. I don't want to hear lip from you European "sports car" snobs. GM is about to take back that GTLM class title in the WT Sports Car Championship. You haven't seen what this middle engine technology can do.

Interesting figures. Confirms what I expected: the C8 will squash other pony car sales and cut into Porsche sales. I wouldn't be surprised if it also affects McLaren sales.

Truly the democratization of the supercar.

The only downside is that the C8 may lose its luster when becoming more common. Plus there's there's the traditional Corvette enthusiast crowd -- who wear wifebeaters when attending the Saturday Coffee and Cars meet up.
