^^ No mods, but sure has some shiny red nuts and bolts...

I guess you're mostly into the looks...Does the non-nismo cover with red paint add any power? What about the Nismo sticker on the strut bar?

:stirthepot:

Sorry lol...is that 7th gen Maxima wheels I see in the background?

Well it has less then 1K on it and it's my wife's. It has drop ins and HFC's on order. But yes I like things that look good. I happen to own a sign shop so I made the decals. Neither the decal or paint add HP but I think they make our Z a little different then most. I also have a few CF pieces that make it look nice.

And yes I'm into looks, aren't you or is your girlfriend/wife Stone Ugly?

The Maxima is mine. I think it looks nice as well.

Did maintenance on the Nismo today. Oil change, filter. Grease the sway bar bushings. Clean the K&N air filters. Checked everything over. All of the SPL parts are nice and tight. Swapped the tires from left to right. Everything is good to go. Waiting on what Santa is going to bring me for Christmas now.

blackcherry20 10-17-2015 07:33 PM

Harrys wheels got some love today...

I love Harry.

That is all.

Lol I hear ya. I was messing with you anyway. But, Z for wife? Maxima for yourself? Whats up with that?

Lol my dad has a 7th gen Max, it gets destroyed by my 5th gen. My Z has 2k miles on it too, Stillen exhaust + intakes on it already. Never too soon to mod :tiphat:

More fender pulling to fit my new RE11's. I think they are finally nicely tucked in the fender well :)

No I am not cambering it more. Maybe to -3 but not until the following road course day just to test out the tires on the next one.

Wow, did your parents not teach you manners? You may be jesting but this isn't the thread for that.

On topic: nothing since I have no Z. The Mazda got new wheels recently though.

For real.

EndyKwon 10-17-2015 11:02 PM

I replaced brake pads by myself!! Just kidding, I had my old man hold the torch (he's the true MVP). But still, it felt really good that I was able to do this without going to a mechanic.

Replaced OEM pads with Hawk HPS... Feels like the initial bite isn't really there compared to the OEM pads. But still, new brake pads!

My fingers are dirty and I've got grease stains on my face. But damn do I feel really good, today was a good day.

So you're saying that a Z is too much for a woman? Your dad clearly spends more time with his "lol 7th gen Max" than working on your manners.

I never said that, you did :stirthepot:

I see this thread is not for jesting...Manners? Did more than one person just mention manners? Lol

OK then back on topic: Got my Sparco shoes delivered, going to drive the Z hard today. My feet are no longer killing me after an hour of traffic.

Sorry for the all the jesting :tiphat:

Repaired one of the bose speakers on the Z yesterday, was making a rattling sound when sound was coming through it....turns out the adhesive that holds the speaker cone in place had dried out and and started cracking, went and got some black silicone adhesive, glued the cone back in place and voila, no more speaker rattle and good as new :)

I removed the Nissan emblems and replaced them with a Z emblem backed with reflectors similar to the side markers. Here's how it looks.http://www.the370z.com/members/caalm...81-emblem1.jpg

Who's brake kit did you go with? I have the Arizona Z car kit, it is really good. Don't forget to upgrade the MC. You will need it.

So... is it the design of having a thermostat controlled value that's a bad idea, or is it just that Mishimoto coolers are crap?

Came back from work today to discover a nice big tire smudge across the driver side of my front bumper from someone's poor attempt at parallel parking on the street

Have you found a T5 280zxt tranny? Will need to fab a mount and bend the shifter to fit. It took me over 6 months to find a used one back in the 90's. Junk yards keep sending the regular Datsun 5-speed. Nissan doesn't sell them anymore, not for a long time. Also tried this back in the 90's. Have you found a Diesel Maxima crank for the stroker build? So rare, I gave up looking.
