Had a spare hour today. Trying to put the new wheels on, won't go. So there is this pin on the front rotor that Nissan decided was a good idea. Keeps the rear wheels from going on the front.

REALLY?

Put the original back on. Remove pins tomorrow. Assuming I can.

Played around on my 11' base w/18's,,,thinking 8,10,12mm headed bolt? can't remember.
what i do remember is the 18x9+15 wheel with a 275/40 (11"sec.10"tread) stuck out about an inch beyond fender...wow-took right back off;didn't even try turning the steering wheel.
i've heard the non nismo 19x10+30's will go & sit flush...Nismo 19x10.5+23,haven't seen yet.
bolt will probably look rusty-but will unscrew just fine.

Finally got time to remove drivers seat and cut out the thigh bolsters, reinstalled in car and loving the feeling of no pain in the thigh. Also, had issue with driver window not going up after seat re-install. Searched for a reset on this forum, worked like a charm. Washed, waxed and returned to garage. It was my daily driver for last few weeks. I p/u used Jeep Liberty for DD now.

Anyone using the NGK Iridium Lazer Tip plug? Factory plugs are gonna be changed soon & i'm pretty sure it has Denso's in it......no problems thus far-i know that particular NGK plug is a very good one & cost 2x more.

LMAO!
Thanks. Pics don't do it justice, the metallic almost looks 3d in the bright sunlight.

Wheels on today. Like many of you said, 12mm, pops that pin in the front rotor right off. Now I need center caps.

Did nothing special but getting the Pioneer Avic8000NEX and a back up camera installed today.. Kept all steering wheel controls too but instead of going through presets the scroll now changes tuning stations instead but its not like that for when I connect it to bluetooth, or my iPhone music or Pandora.... I will take it back to the shop in a few days unless its an easy solution.. Any ideas guys?!

Bagged370z 08-30-2015 10:40 PM

Took a 4 hour road trip to visit some friends at college. About 30minutes in a mica red 370 pulled aside me and we gave the highway hell for about 120miles until we got called in to the cops.. Lol Good thing they didn't catch me:rofl2::driving:

Can't do anything about the height. Lowering is not allowed in my solo class and I can't afford to go up a class.

Spun bald tires around multiple corners in a fun yet subtle manner with the wife in the car today. No complaints :D :driving:

As usual, drove it all weekend collecting bugs.

This weekend the wife and I headed up to Fort Ticonderoga for some history.

I painted the rudder for my sail boat. (It folds back in case I hit a submarine)

Looks awesome dude!!!

burntz 09-01-2015 02:19 PM

I also put in a cheap auto cargo net, the regular spot only covers ~1/3 of the hatch and the front wall is shallower then on the 350 so I was worried about being beaned by a spaghetti jar in the event of a quick stop (or, ironically,by a can of beans)

Just finished washing my Z and am reminded how awesome black looks, (for a few days or so).

Ramage 09-01-2015 07:24 PM

Another wash, Adam's Guard n gloss, and topped with buttery wax. This never gets old...
