Woo hoo - great day - just got shipping confirmation on my full carbon fiber vented Aerojacket fenders.

Voice59 10-01-2015 08:19 PM

Like the look a lot! One of the cleanest white Z's I've seen.

D.Stillwell 10-02-2015 05:40 AM

^^ I love everything about that white Z....

But never been a fan of smoking/blacking out heqdlights and tails unless its factory and doesn't affect light output.

The RE-71's sit in the garage. I looked wistfully at them. Can't wait to try them out.

I was running the OE Bridgstone RE-050's on the stock sport rims up until August this year. I bought a set of Volk rims from a MAZOC member that came with some RE-11s. The fronts are OK but the rears are mostly gone. The RE-71's will go on the stock sport rims for autox. I had thought I would go with PSS for the Volk rims but not sure. They might rub with the +12 offset of the rear wheels.

If they made them in the size I needed, I would consider it. No 305/30-19's yet.

Also installed a TWM Satin shift knob. However, I forgot to order the shift boot collar (finisher) so don't have pics. Ordered it today from Z1. Will post pics when the setup is complete.

Regarding the removal of the stock shift knob. It's been said and done here. But I will repeat it nevertheless -- strap wrench for the win.

Picked up Stillen exhaust and Stillen G3 intake last night.

Couldn't be happier, was a local pickup 5min from home and got it all for less than half of what it would cost new...only 2000 miles on the items, look real good...

I need some new gaskets for the exhaust, should I go to dealership or order them from Stillen? Anyone that can chime in is greatly appreciated!

Anyone have any tips for install? Let me know please :tiphat:

Absolutely nothing done with the Z for 3 days due to a Nor'Easter and flooding in this area. Just happy the rain has stopped and hoping that the wind calms soon.

Ran her through the paces on the back roads this morning. Winter is around the corner so enjoying her while I can

Something is wrong, really wrong with Z owners. Spending all this time and money on a car....LOVE IT! Quite inspiring.

ZeroZ34 10-05-2015 10:44 AM

Bought the v2 zspeed aluminum under tray and carbon fiber front fang lip. I really want to carbon fiber the door handles and side mirrors but....the bank disagrees with me sometimes lol.

sp911 10-05-2015 11:31 AM

hit some deer guts sprawled out on the highway this morning. guy in front of me slowed down only a little so it was a surprise for me and there was a big semi in the lane next to me so I couldn't change lanes. it was dark so i'll look tonight to see if any guts splattered anywhere. luckily I didn't get an antler stuck in my tire like I did a few years ago with my bmw. that time I actually slid a whole lane onto the shoulder because of the guts. i'll check the tire pressure too. my low tire pressure warning lite came on a few days ago but that was just normal from laziness. now if it happened in reverse order i'd be worried. lol.

JARblue 10-05-2015 03:23 PM

Installed the G1W-CB dash cam in my Z this afternoon (purchased here).

Currently it is using the 12V power under the glove box, but it will be hardwired eventually whenever I get around to installing the homelink mirror that's been sitting in my garage for several months now.

So I had an sti and on the way to cruise with my buddy who just got a new evo x i hit a deer and a car doing 40 on a back road. Finally got the cars together! His is getting full tba and I am getting tint, swift springs, h&r 15mm spacers all around, stillen lw pulley, unorthodox lw alternator pulley and an oil change because the dealer loosened my drain plug when they were fixing csc???????????? Got that for free along with making them pay for motul 300. Ive had the car for a month and its been in the shop for 3 weeks but these 3 days were for the right reasons.http://i62.tinypic.com/xbz8u1.jpg

K & N PreCharger Air Filter Wraps for Stillen G3 Intakes

4 Attachment(s)
Finally got around to installing my Stillen G3 CAI yesterday. Been sitting in my garage for 6 months. Due to the "hassle" of pulling the front fascia to clean the air filters, I ordered K & N PreCharger wraps for the air filters as well. ( K & N part number 22-8044PK ). Less than $20 each too. They keep the big stuff out of them for sure and makes cleaning/recharging easier too. I have these on my Xterra as well and they work great. No restriction to airflow either. Basically they install like a ... condom. See attached pix for part numbers, etc.

I ordered it from Japan. The product code for the key holder is KWA10-60B00-RD. I loved this car so much that I even ordered the catalog for the Fairlady Z and the catalogue for Optional Parts for the NISMO Z from Japan. There are some cool stuff on the optional parts.
