Yay.

I'll pray for your sanity. Anything electrical is the worst.

Yeah, I had an older pioneer so didn't have to reprogram, just wish I had the bluetooth buttons.

Curbed one of my NIMSO rims.  :(

Looks like I'm going to be trying:

so i went out for a quick spin to re-torque my lugs on my photoshopped WEDS wheels. had a good time. got home, plugged my car in (battery tender). i checked back a few hrs later, the tender was still showing red = charge. :wtf:

i checked the voltage at the battery terminals 13.71v which is correct as far as charge voltage, but should've floated within 15min of me plugging it in. i pulled my other tender off my G and hooked it up to my Z. flashed green (80%+ charged) within 5min which was expected, then floated in 15min.

tossed the old tender i was running on my Z (10 yrs old?) and ordered a new one. :D

for reference, float voltage for the battery tender is roughly around 13.1721343201105428323v. :icon17:

sorry to hear.. but this maybe opportunity. you should run the 13' - 14' nismo wheels. they would look so much nicer on ur ride.

That sucks and that stuff does not really work. Take them here:

Mobile Rim Repair in Raleigh, NC | Kwicksilver Rim Repair

They will make them perfect again.

That is what happens when you use tools made from Photoshop.

I am actually rather fond of the 15" NISMO wheels. Love them in fact, which makes me want to do a Tyler Durden and beat my own *** all the more for that moment of inattention.

It does appear professional rim repair is a better way to go though still on fence between mobile or taking it somewhere. And staying far far away from any consideration of TE-37SL that will have me sleeping on the couch.

kenchan 06-10-2015 06:30 PM

Or just get a new wheel and tire mounted. Just pull the tpms out during the mount. That's what I do and keep the one with the tire as a spare. :)

Installed the eibach front sway bar yesterday. Had some drive time on the soft and stiff setting and the stiff + oem rear sway feels great to me. Contrary to beliefs, the bigger front sway helped control the Zs understeer. I'm quite happy with it at the moment

Replacing my sway bars with Hotchkis was one of the first changes I made on each of my 370Zs. I am in complete agreement about the effect it has on under-steer. It made it go way. (the SPL endlinks helped also)

so finally got some time to try to hardwire the dashcam...but a little lost...

What do I do with these?? Assuming I just strip the power (U piece) and tap it into the fuse power(blue piece)

Fuzzzy 06-11-2015 10:41 PM

My wife and I drove about 60 miles to get a sandwich at our favorite surviving pizza place. On the return trip we took a long-cut on some little-traveled, curving, country roads through a national forest.

Quite the enjoyable afternoon!

Oil change day -- I love Sacramento Nissan.

I bring them oil and filter and crush washer, they change it and charge $17.00 labor, plus they do a multipoint.

Today, with a coupon, total cost was zero.

Oh -- Red Line 5/30 plus K&N

How much did you buy the oil/filter/washer for?

So I get my stuff wholesale. I think I paid $7.49/quart for the oil and around $8.00 for the filter. I buy the Red Line in Gallon bottles.

Nice - I had my local Nissan do an oil change and moved over to synthetic last week. Tech was a Z owner and enthusiast as well and we chatted for a bit about mods and stuff. He told me to bring whatever fluids I'd like for changes and they would just charge labor.

yah, been saying this all along... the front bar needs help, the rear is fine.
might want to get beefier endlinks though if your setting is any more than 35-40% stiffer than stock.

installed a fatboy shift knob today. i like it. shifts are a bit shorter since it sits lower and lighter since it is twice as heavy as the stock one. the only issue is that the knob is advertised as 1.4 lb but is only 1.03 lb when i weighed it.

Got my dr. Colorchip kit yesterday and proceeded to annihilate about 90% of the paint chips all over my Z, 100% satisfied with the results :)

jpkirk 06-13-2015 04:32 PM

I found my first chip on the front bumper. :( Dr. Colorchip will be making a visit to my house.

Today's fun. This is after replacing the O2 sensor from the first CEL earlier this week.
