I made/bought nice ramps for my garage. Not to drive up and change the oil but to get in and out of my garage without scraping! No problem going in but backing out the wheels drop a bit since the driveway has settled and the front lip scrapes. Not much but I bet over time may cause a problem. I hadn’t even noticed while driving, my wife did. First I had cut pieces of plywood but have replaced them a few times after they wore out. I got some nice solid rubber thingies at bj’s warehouse. I guess they are to make a patio or walkway. I had cut one to put narrower pieces under the big ones since it’s such a drop. Works like a charm and looks much better than beat up old plywood.

Just ordered Fast Intentions SS 18" resonator exhaust. Only had the car a couple months but factory exhaust had to go. Now the only problem is waiting!

Got the widebody, Zenith, AG wheels and air ride installed today:driving:

Drove to work... Without going over 70mph. Felt like enjoying the light traffic and cruising on the highway while listening to lounge music... Very peaceful :driving:

I hate truckers.... They are always leaving stuff in the middle of the interstate. More like their junk keeps falling off into the middle of the road. This time they got my undertray. Junk truck's and trailers are always running out of the Savannah port held together with bailing wire and spit......

i read dat the zspeed opening for oil drain is a joke... need to remove it like the factory shroud for clean oil change.
kinda defeats the purpose imho.. |

yah, i only use ramps when i do my oil changes so id have to remove the entire shroud.

I have the Z Speed shroud on my current (and had it on my first) 370. Removing the little panel works fine for oil changes. Now that I am thinking about it, I think the design is a little different now and the opening is larger. Yes, I think it is true. The first one I bought and installed on my first Z worked well if the car was on a lift (and therefore level). On the ramps it made a bit of a mess due to the car being on an angle. I bought a new shroud with my new 370 and when I changed the oil for the first time (on ramps) I only removed the little panel and I think I remember noticing that the panel was a little larger. I had no spilling or other issues. |
Had a dyno-day. Car put out 313 hp on a dyno-jet. Car has stillen intakes, ark grip exhaust and nst underdrive pulleys.
Was happy with that. Ordered some switchback halos for some light work this coming weekend! |
