If you can't go fast with 300 HP, 400 ain't going to help. Cost efficient power would have been a Mustang GT or used SBC car: those V8s are very good $/hp cars. I drove an extremely well balanced car for 13 years prior to the Z. I also double WHP with a nice turbo kit.
