LOL, sorry Mr.happytheman, the Chinese restaurant does not have cheez fries yet, how about sweet&sour fries for now????

happytheman 03-04-2012 10:21 PM

I think chili cheez fries might make up for this little issue. I might be able to convince Ken-San to let this little incident be without further punishment! :)

alcheng 03-04-2012 10:27 PM

Serve him some Hagen Daz and we are all set, LOL :yum: :icon17:

about to pull the trigger on some eibach sway bars from kamispeed unless someone has good reason i should go with stillen or a good site to get them from other than kamispeed...

gurneyeagle 03-05-2012 06:27 AM

Good Morning all!

Another beautiful day here in Houston as I watch a gorgeous sunrise from my office with the Z parked safely downstairs in the garage.

Did a little more research on a Juke last night, and that funky thing is starting to grow on me. The wife even said it's so funky, she likes it. Hmmm?

happytheman 03-05-2012 06:41 AM

The front end of the Juke leaves a bit to be desired, but for the most part I like it! :)

Why wouldnt you go with the Stillen bars to begin with?? Looks like the Stillen sways are about $70 cheaper. Now while I dont have mine installed yet I can assure you they will be every bit as good, if not better, than the Eibachs. I hear the Stillen bars are excellent, esp with a street setup. On the topic of Kamispeed, I suggest them to everyone. I have bought my Swifts, Koni's, and brake upgrades from them. Always a great price. Nobody else came close to the deal I got on my Konis from them.

Fire 03-05-2012 07:40 AM

Hi guys happy Monday. Bruce I have stillens and really like them. They are the older ones with no adjustment to the fronts and I know now they are adjustable front and rear. I have Eibach springs and caster camber kits front and rear. I do like both eibach and stillen.:ugh2:

"Funky" is one of the elements of its appeal. My wife is attracted to the odd and unusual, which may explain why someone like her would choose to be with someone such as myself.

Fire 03-05-2012 08:25 AM

Funky is a good word. :ugh2:

Nick911sc 03-05-2012 08:33 AM

Morning fellas!

Just another day at the office

Srenity 03-05-2012 09:06 AM

Good Morning Z People!!

Lemers 03-05-2012 09:31 AM

On the way to work this morning I noticed how much my passenger seat and glove box were trashed after taking my kid home from football practice.

ZMan8 03-05-2012 10:03 AM

Good morning everyone.

So some venting time. I get sent to a client this morning that is 25 miles from my house (office is 12) and when I get there the client informed me that he told my manager yesterday they are not ready yet for us.... :shakes head: @ my manager for forgetting to let me know.

Fire 03-05-2012 10:13 AM

Sounds like 50% of the managers out there. Almost as good as the weather for casters.

Hey Fire, any news for the ZL1???

Good Morning Z fellows!!!

OGIM Oh..God It's Monday

:icon18:

Nick911sc 03-05-2012 11:28 AM

No pictures as of yet. The Z is in the garage so I won't have time or space to take any pictures until maybe the weekends.

Fire 03-05-2012 11:32 AM

Alchang no news. The process is like the tax laws. Way too complicated for what they are doing. I think I might have to sacrifice a chicken on a Thurs. at Midnight or something. I do feel a little better after visiting another site and seeing that people did not get thier order # when first ordered but when they where accepted for production. They have announced another prouction hold for QA. My problem is that if I don't have my car by ZDayZ I will not be going because I cannot take the chance of getting damage to my Z before trade in.

They are about the same price from what i have found. Kmaispeed has the Eibachs for $369 with no tax and free shipping. The Stillens are $372 after shipping from z1. From what i have read on these forums, the Stillens are better for a street setup, the Hotchkis are more for a track set up and Eibachs are a good inbetweener. That's why i was planning to do Eibach.

Are the stillen bars actually red?

Fire 03-05-2012 11:37 AM

Mine are red.

Fire 03-05-2012 11:39 AM

Hi Nick happy Monday

Nick911sc 03-05-2012 11:42 AM

Hey Fire!

All this talk of sway bars is making me want to buy some. I've been pretty set on stillens if I install sways. But you can't really go wrong with any of them. But I can't remember, aren't there some stock parts you should change along with the sways due to eventual failure with aftermarket sways?

Fire 03-05-2012 11:44 AM

Some people recommend adjustable sway bar links. I just have stock links and no squeaks or problems.

Nick911sc 03-05-2012 11:49 AM

Yea, I mean.. What are the odds of blowing out the oem endlinks while just street driving the car, not on the track.

370zproject 03-05-2012 11:52 AM

Fire 03-05-2012 11:57 AM

I think just about every time last year I had my car out it rained. :shakes head:

Stillens seem like a nice choice!

here is my take for those interested

-Stillen are cheapest and best for a street car with lots of adj.
-Eibach are a great street/autoX (happy medium)
-Hotchkis are more track suited with limited adj. and much stiffer than stock.
-There are also tanabe, progress(sp), and other companies I don't know much about.
-Whitelines cost a bit more, are solid instead of hollow, and have good adj.
whiteline also makes rear end links. Nobody, i think, makes front end links.

I'm looking at sways and i narrowed it down to stillen vs eibach, with whitelines being a potential.

kenchan 03-05-2012 12:20 PM

Hummmmm, no car action today.... will see later if i can wash my G.

Fire 03-05-2012 12:20 PM

Looks like you have done your research :eekdance: Just have to pick the one you want.
