Snapped back in the front Sport spoiler that the previous owner hit..

All is good for now. It snapped back in.

Seems the previous owner had some fun with the summer tires...

I will be ready for Tires in the fall, and probably Pads too...

Still raining...

Alternative to plastidip is a rear diffuser for me :)

Solar,

A lot of guys on the forum are running Hankooks as alternatives to the stock tires. They have great reviews, only negative I've heard is a slightly softer sidewall that may be minimally felt on aggressive turning.

One to check out that I am running is the TOYO T1S they grip and feel like PS2's IMHO. The V12's are squishy in comparison. My 2c.

I should bring a can of plastidip to the next Z meet and make someone there who knows what they're doing do it.. lmao

I'll be sure to check out those Toyo's as well. Won't need new tires anytime soon at the rate I drive my Z.. haha

Any one else, get ready. Time flies.. MONEY MANAGEMENT is the foundation to a financially secure life...You CANNOT build a portfolio with debt on your head...Only a First fixed vanilla Mortgage that you can deduct is king.

After Inflation and deductions, a 4.5% fixed loan is about 3% approx..then when rates go up and are like 1990's at double digits..you will be in the cat bird seat..

What I found really interesting is that the flat tire does not fit in the spot where the spare came out of. What do you do if you are on a road trip with luggage? :ugh2:

I'll keep you guys informed on events as they unfold. Still have to get the TMPS swapped-out and a front end alignment. That should happen next week.

I just hope there aren't any bent suspension pieces. I was only going 25 mph when I hit the pot hole, but the impact knocked the wheel out of my hands.

Sorry to hear that gurneyeagle, don't know the '09 TMPS does not work on '11 model, have you tried bringing it to the dealer and let them program it??

Should be ok, they also have NISSAN TMPS and aftermarket one too.

mr.alcheng- is there anyone other than fujimura that makes axle backs? i think the only other option was the unimpressive HKS muffler and some cheezy pipe + exhaust tips and hanger approach.

super cheap = washer mod. lol :icon17:

Nick911sc 03-01-2012 02:29 PM

It would be a great thread to direct people to. Especially when 16 year olds who don't have jobs come on the forum talking about purchasing the Z for their first car and get mad when we tell them not to lol

I split my pants getting out of mine today. Seriously. And they weren't like tight pants or anything, I think it's just that I pull my foot up so far to clear the door (big boots on) that it puts everything at a weird angle. I feel like the movie So Fine. No pictures will be posted.

it's still Z related. he got out of his car. lol :icon18:

so this weekend is a no-go for the Z to pull out of the garage due to expected light snow (which means salt on the ground). so im going to dust off the car cover first and do the century spring install (clutch helper spring) that's been sitting on my work bench, and plug in that micro USB drive i got a few weeks ago for my HU... also turn the tires again.

next week looks a lot more promising as the low temps are now above freezing... :p

kenchan 03-01-2012 03:26 PM

also did a quick calculation how much gas budget i would need for this season... turns out i will need minimum $1500 for the next 9months for the Z. :icon17: which is no problem.
