Fix-a-flat really work on our tires? They permanently ruin your tires and may not make it around the entire premeter. Better off getting plugs and 12v air compressor...

Welcome to the forum!!!

oh... I thought they change the name from FairladyZ to CRISWELL..... Ops :ugh2:

Actually I had a long wooden dow rod and used it to poke the sinc button on the garage door opener so I wouldn't have to take the car out of the garage since it was very cold out today.

Thanks for the dental floss suggestion. I was going to use a screwdriver and hammer!

Either its gonna be "sorry sir we cant seem to replicate the problem you are having/ there isnt a problem" OR its gonna be "sorry sir your warranty is null and void due to all of your aftermarket parts". At which point the arguing will insue. Im also anxious to get all the parts I have sitting here on the car so the sooner its on the road the sooner I can get it over to my buddies place to do some wrenching:tup:

Hey onzedge did you get your KONI'S in yet??????????????????????????

Konis, Konis, Konis.

No, they are not in yet. Saturday was the day, but my wife's Echo's tranny deciding that life was just not worth living anymore screwed my schedule. So, now it is:

Juke, Juke, Juke.

I have to schedule a weekday now to install them due to me driving the Z to my folks' house in LA in a few weeks. I have to have them done by then. I swear it is one thing after another these past few months and it is putting me seriously on z edge.

He is getting better. He is working the counter and doing service order estimates and write-ups until the cast comes off the week after next. Thanks for asking.

From wiki:
Häagen-Dazs is a brand of ice cream, established by Jewish-Polish immigrants Reuben and Rose Mattus in the Bronx, New York, in 1961. Starting with only three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and coffee, the company opened its first retail store in Brooklyn, New
York, on November 15, 1976.

I've actually thought of this a couple of weeks ago. I'm all about that.

My Z sat in the garage today. There was snow on the ground. She may come out tomorrow, because the roads should be clear, and Wednesday's weather is supposed be sunny and near 60 degrees! We've had a mild winter here in the Northeast, and spring appears to be arriving early! :ughdance:

Yeah, that's a good point! Damn. I did see white residue on the road. Might have to wait it out. But, man! Wednesday ... sunny and near 60! If we get no rain, skipping that day is gonna be tough.

yah, been driving my G through the white stuff and after the wash today i felt the paint for contaminants. not too bad, but definitely needs clay on the rear bumper for sure.

if you do decide to pull out your Z, put some slick spray wax on the rear bumper for sure. the vapor from the exhaust while the engine warms up the first 10-15mins will make the salt dust stick pretty bad.

i use Griot's SprayOn Wax as LSP. it's super stick especially over polymers. it will help wash off the salt without much contaminants sticking to the paint. :)

bbigby64 03-05-2012 09:27 PM

Thanks for the tip. I just bought a Porter Cable kit, and some clay plus spray. Can't wait for a good day to try out the equipment. :)

Spohn good luck at your track day. :driving:

happytheman 03-05-2012 09:53 PM

Not a whole lot going on lately. I will say though that my brother-in-law was pretty dissapointed that I didn't drive the Z over to Tampa when no went to see my sisters yesterday! :rofl2:

I find myself turning the tunes off and rolling the windows down nevery day now!

Spohn - I'm interested to hear how your track day goes buddy!

Ken-San - Well, at least I now know you're middle aged, live somewhere in the middle, like coffe ice cream & burritos, and used to live in California with a modded Civic!

Onzedge - Sorry you're On Z Edge over this Koni/Juke thing, and glad to hear that Colin is healing nicely!

Alcheng - I cann feel you're pent up frustrations all the way over here! I hope you get that tranny straightened out!

Edit: Zzappy is funny, and is going to hammer the fark outta his dealer badging!
