hi mr.gurney! wow, that's a lot of poke you got there, but some folks might actually say they like it like that. :D hahaha.

hope you get your new spacers install soon. :)

onzedge 03-23-2012 01:48 PM

Sharp Z you got there, Mr. Gurney.

Nick911sc 03-23-2012 01:50 PM

I want to drop my car on swifts... But I also want to get Koni's... But at the moment I can't do both... But I'm reluctant to get swifts without Koni's and then have to do another install later. Dunno what to do...

Nick911sc 03-23-2012 02:05 PM

 ive not even tried a set yet and im already a fan. :icon17: ive had great luck with previous Pilots though.

as for supersports i like the low weight and the reviews you posted about nice sidewall feedback. i luvs the DW's light weight but the sidewall response is on the slower/softer side for me. comfy though even over pretty rough roads.

ZMan8 03-23-2012 02:22 PM

Mr. Kenchan I tried to rep you, but it told me "I have to spread some love elsewhere first"

:bowrofl:

ZMan8 03-23-2012 02:22 PM

Questions for anybody that ordered spacers from stillen why is the shipping cost for ground $40...??

Me too. Since I got the Nismo rims, I've never been happy with the rear look; the front is really exaggerated in the pictures. In person, the front really looks good to me. I like part of the tire shoulder (1/3) sticking out from under the fender.

I'm going to keep my eye on it and may just put the 10mm on the front and go to 5mm in the rear. 5mm is so small, I'm not sure it's worth the trouble; i.e. either go 10mm or go 0. I've got a few weeks to decide.

:iagree:, I always feel the OEM HU for the 370z is lacking something, even I had the BOSE, especially when playing CD or MP3, sounds like there's a shield blocking the voice/music coming out completely. It's a bit better with the AUX-In, though.

10mm seems a safer choice...

Mr.Nick911sc, you are thinking about putting on the Swifts as the first step, then Koni's as 2nd, then get a set of Super Sport later.... these steps reminds me someone in this thread..... you know... the guy who's on the Z-edge..... :driving:

I got some this week, and paid like $9.95. Hold off, they always run specials with free shipping.

Yea.. But if I plan on doing the first 2 steps why not do them together as one step instead of having to do them separately? That's my dilemma

Mr.kenchan, I am on the same boat with you at this one, although I just pick up the DW 2 days ago, like it very much so far, but I've been thinking about getting a set of SuperSport after the DW. :icon17:

Even with no specials we're talking about a pretty small box here.....$40 for regular ground service seems a bit much no?

It seems wrong since I paid less than $10 for shipping on Monday.

:iagree:

Have to take off the same parts anyway, why not doing it at once.

So... What is the reason for getting these gifts this time?

It's a small box, but four spacers and sets of studs are heavy.

5mm does make a difference. it's subtle but the closer you get the tire sidewall to the fender the bigger difference you will see even with small increment changes. i would make sure that your spacer has a hubcentric lip though. im not sure if there are any 5mm that have the lip. you many need to use 10mm resulting in ET14. which is still

yah, i like the DW's too. no real complaints. ive gotten use to the softer sidewall response and it's not bad.

since my G is modded and runs S04's with pretty stiff sidewalls the contrast is noticable. that's all. :D too bad bridgestone tires are so frikken heavy though. atleast 4-5lbs difference per corner!

kenchan 03-23-2012 03:55 PM

I agree they seem to be made the same. Everyone on here though is :nutswinger: H&R so I'll join the club :rofl2:

kenchan 03-23-2012 04:06 PM

ive read about H&R's lip shearing off, but none about eibach.

i prefer eibach...even though i have a set of H&R's too which are on my G right now. :D (but my G's on SSR's which are lug-centric wheels so no worries about excess stress on the lip).

LMBmikeZ 03-23-2012 04:07 PM

Try one of our vendors on here

I used FBNISSAN (Fred beans parts) for a few things now and everything was great. I know there is others to. GL

ZMan8 03-23-2012 04:08 PM

Yeah I read about that too.. It seems though that it's only common for those who track their cars and putting high G loads on their front spacers.
