Stud replacement only.

Possibly, will you commit to a 24-7, 365, 3 year term, wearing an embarrassing charburger costume?

Before you decide I'll let you know the costume does have a poop hatch in the back for convenience.

ZMan8, I will measure the gap between the top of the tire to the edge of the fender and decide either 15 or 20. :icon17:

I called stillen and they recommended the same thing so I will measure tonight. They also said it depends on how fat your tires are: 275 for example he said probably go with the 20mm 285+ then go with 15 (this is of course on the stock sport rays)

Fire 03-22-2012 07:03 PM

I aint wearing no costume dammt. LOL Even for Kenman. Sorry no deal :shakes head:

I have 275 at the back, OEM size. I will also measure the gap at the front to make sure giving the same look on both front and back. :icon17:

Front Im basically set on15mm. I've seen people do 20mm but even stock the front does not look as tucked as the rear.

I am not adding spacer on the front, it is good enough now, so just want to see what is that gap the front have thus adding a proper spacer to make the rear similar to the front.

I think I will get torn deciding between 15 and 20. :eekdance:

Mr.alcheng- from those picts I recommend 10 or 15mm for the rears only. Wats the offset and width of those rear wheels? Also do the wheels have cavity between the lug bores on the disc? Your stock lugs will protrude about 12mm (for 15mm spacer) if you use bolt on type so make sure. If 10mm you'll want to get the stud replacement type. :)

I feel you TheGreatOne, I washed my Z last Wed, rain on Thur night, washed again on Sat night, sprinkle on Mon a bit, just enough to dirty the Z. Washed it again last night, hopefully the weather will be good for the next at least 4-5 days. :icon17:

LakeShow 03-22-2012 11:41 PM

Stuff like that always happens to me. Washed my car one day and 3 hours later it started to down pour and rain was not even on the forecast at all for 7 days and no chance of rain at all, reason why I washed it. Sh1t happens, sometimes too often.

takjak2 03-23-2012 12:56 AM

Drove the Z to gym with a nice coat of yellow pollen. Rained, now I've got the leopard spots. Wash tomorrow.

Mr.kenchan, I looked up the invoice, the spec for the rear rim is 19X10.5 +25

I am eying on the H&R DRM spacer, so I believe the length of the lugs shouldn't be a problem, correct??

Mr.ZMan8, I did measure the gap, how I did it was I affixed a tape-measure on the fender where it is align with the center-cap of the wheel, since there is the rest of the tape-measure hanging to work as a weight therefore I sure the tape-measure is straight down.

Then I use a ruler, measure the distance from the side wall of the tire to the tape, be careful on where do you lay your ruler on the sidewall because there's camber, and since I am measuring the gap for both front and rear, it is important to make sure the measurement is taken properly. How to achieve that is actually simple, all you need to do is to pick a reference distance from the edge of the fender to where lay your ruler to measure the gap, I put the ruler 2.5inches below the edge of the front and rear fender, and the gap are 25mm front and 40mm rear.

The difference between the front and back is 15mm.

A pair of 15mm spacers I am going to order.

Good morning guys, its Friday! :hello:

kenchan 03-23-2012 07:11 AM

Mr.alcheng- good morning! :D id definitely stick with 10mm max if not lowered. Is DRS the stud replacement type? If so no issue with stock studs protruding.

Morning all! Tgif!
