Something like that. Actually, RT 15 from Dillsburg, PA to the Mason-Dixon line is a "set it and forget it" cruise control zone for me. PA State Troopers work that stretch hard.
I found places to have fun along the way without being egregious.

Discretion is the better part of valor. And it costs less to. :ugh2: Actually I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in about 20 years. :driving:

Took her for a quick spin to the corner store to drop off some movies. :excited: I LUV rolling with my windows down! I just wish I had some tunnels to blow through so I could wind it out and hear my Z just that much better!

I have (knock on wood) never gotten one!

Fire 03-12-2012 09:19 PM

Never? LOL WTH. When I was in the Marines I had a Camaro and got my license suspended. :driving: Just after getting out I got a ticket while driving my drag prepped 64 Plymouth Fury. I got a ticket for 65 in a 55 when I was actually in a 45 MPH zone. I parked right under the sign when I got pulled over :Tupi: That was my last ticket for speeding.

Hey Mr. Onzedge, did you know you have shocks that are yello in color? They sure look mighty tasty! I'm digging em! I wonder, what improvements (if any) would I realize if I just replaced my factory shocks with Konis?

Mr. Onzedge, great pictures. How visible is the yellow with the wheels back on the car?

You can see them if you get close up and peer through the wheels -- it is a similar technique one would employ when looking through partially closed curtains from outside the window.

Hmm onze that sounds like something illegal. LOL  Does peeping tom mean anything to you?

I had my share over the years(you can say over 30 driiving). however after about 10 yrs I got one 2 yrs ago in my old lady's SUV. :shakes head:

Fire 03-12-2012 10:08 PM

Always comes back to the SUV. My last ticket was for an unregistered MV. I was driving my sisters Suburban to an amusement park with her in the passenger seat. The registration was expired by a few days and I didn't know it. In NYS they post the month in big #'s but the exact date is much smaller. I thought it was good until the end of the month posted like the inspection sticker. It ain't. I was the one that got the ticket.:shakes head: She did pay the ticket.

I was just trying to draw an analogy for explanatory purposes.:icon17:

Fire 03-12-2012 10:15 PM

I've been driving for 33 years, legaly for 29. I started driving my father suburban at 12 years old. :ughdance:

happytheman 03-12-2012 10:16 PM

Well, if you want to talk illegal, I drove for three years off and on from 12-15 in various vehicles that my Grandfather owned. So that would push me out to 28 years. My Grandfather rocked. I miss him. :(

Just put in new cabin air filter...that glove box is a pain to take out.

happytheman 03-12-2012 10:59 PM

Good night Fire! :hello:

Does the in-cabin air filter really do much of anything?

Well considering the old one was gray, I think so

From what I read it will help get rid of that moldy smell many people experience with A/C on. For $13 though it's not a big deal to do once a year.

Srenity 03-13-2012 01:40 AM

I got a ticket for 74 in a 55 construction zone on the CA101. There was no construction going on at all during the time but apparently that does not matter and you have to follow the construction speed at all times. The cop did not put the construction zone part in the ticket so it does not count as double penalty.

happytheman 03-13-2012 07:06 AM

Good morning Ma peeps! I'm getting my coffe on and preparing for my day!

Got a fun 35 min drive ahead! :)

Such children! I got my license in 1974, so that's..................... Holy Sh#t, 38 YEARS AGO! No wonder I'm feeling tired. I'm a lot older than I thought.

Last ticket was in 2000 for 70 in a 55 driving my then brand new Acura CL Type S. Loved that car! It definitely helped perpetuate the old "wive's tale" that red cars attracted cops! I was pulled over at three different times while owning that car.

Good morning all!

Morning everyone! I'm kinda behind on the thread. :icon17:

Good morning everyone :hello:

Installed reduced weight clutch helper spring.
Became hyper-aware of transmission gear-whine, then read every review out there on the 370Z and discovered that they all do it.

Nick911sc 03-13-2012 08:53 AM

Morning everyone!

ZMan8 03-13-2012 09:39 AM

Good morning everyone.

Hope it's as beautiful outside where you guys are at as it is in Chicago!

Rained this morning, but sunny and 61 degrees now. Unfortunately, I left the Z home.

Morning guys enjoying my coffee. If the weather holds I'm going for a drive this afternoon. :driving: Rained yesterday to get rid of salt on roads now just need the roads to dry. I think I will wash my truck also to get rid of the salt on it. I read somewhere that the salt on vehicles wont effect them as long as the temp does not get above freezing and the snow/ice melts.

WhiskeyHotel 03-13-2012 10:13 AM

Drove it to work in the freaking dark. I hate the daylight saving time change. Let's pick daylight or standard and do it.

dAvenue 03-13-2012 10:15 AM

Good morning all.

Mr. onzedge, I'm glad to see the Koni's have been installed. The ride may be a little harsh at first but after a few weeks, they will soften up a bit. It's either that or you just get use to them. I don't know which.

Just got a call from Chevy Customer Service. They confirmed that my dealer has a dealer allocation for the ZL1 and that it is mine. Once production allocation resumes I will be receiving my order #. One step closer. But doesn't look good for ZDayZ this year.:shakes head: I'll probably be going to Imports at Carlisle this year. The trip is much shorter and I know that if I went to ZDayZ with my Z I'd have to do the dragon and I cannot take the chance of damaging my Z it is my trade in for the ZL1.:wtf2:
