Ehh, we'll see. Tires have a historical pattern of going up in production cost about 15% or so every year. the price of rubber has been going up for the last couple of years, so some of the tire companies planted a whole crap load of trees in '05, and they should be ready right about now. But I haven't read up on it in a bit, so something may have changed and I could be totally wrong lol. It's usually the case.

Huck your at Victoria's Secret? As for tire prices they go like everything else. They raise the price 15% for a 2% transport increase. It's called economics (better known as new math). It don't add up but what can ya do?

ZMan8 03-31-2012 12:22 PM

So i'm thinking of giving the engine bay more show look. Can anybody comment on the z1 hoses. Worth it... waste of money? I want the red ones, but with the engine heat will they fade over time to orange?

I'm thinking the PCV hoses and Brake Booster hose to start off with $42 total.

Fire 03-31-2012 12:29 PM

Sorry Z no help.

Hello All! :hello:

Hope your Saturday is going well.

The original forecast of a 60% chance of rain here in Houston has turned into a beautiful low 70's day with a few clouds and a cool breeze. Just got back from a ten mile walk.

Detailed the Z this morning to get ready for the Z cruise to Texas World Speedway tomorrow. While our time on the track will be limited to following a pace car, the road back home is full of elevation changes and turns. :happydance:

Hehehe, yeah! I was going on Onzedge's track record..so I'm not so sure how great my mind is that I can follow repetitive patterns. Perhaps I'm about as great as your average field mouse. :)

Fire 03-31-2012 01:58 PM

Or drunk raccoon happy :icon18:

happytheman 03-31-2012 02:00 PM

Dunno Zman, but for as cheap as they are it would be worth it to bite the bullet and get 'em. I myself was just perusing the Z1 post MAFs and radiator hose replacements in red.

Fire 03-31-2012 02:08 PM

Happy are you sure you wheren't drunk and raccoon was just walking down the sidewalk? Maybe a little too much saki ??

happytheman 03-31-2012 02:13 PM

Hehehe, I did have a Margarita, Long Island and two Jameson's (each with only a single cube of ice)...but that was earlier in the evening (around 3-4pm)!

Heck, that is just priming the pump.

Fire 03-31-2012 02:16 PM

Isn't a Long Island equal to like 3 drinks? Soo lets see 10 drinks in 1 hour divided by 2 cups coffee plus 1 Molson Canadian equals
