haven't done any Z things today... i motored the G this am as the roads were still wet and the car needed a wash anyways. :p

then i worked on my dd (FitSport) to remove the MOMO steering wheel it had and put the stocker back on. getting ready to sell the car. :)

otherwise, just stared at my Z from all angles, showed the wife my curbed wheel :crying:. and she's like "ken you got a new wheel just for THAT?! :icon08:"

Got out of my PW 370, went into a Nike outlet store, and walked out in these pearl white shoes!! :tup:

edit- they reflect so brightly like the Z, the camera's autoexposure had to darken everything. PW makes cameras "squint" :D

Took the Z out for a long drive, it was fun. It's starting to get a little dirty so I'll drive it to work this week, too (I hate to leave it out in the weather when it's just been cleaned up.)

Took her for a drive, hung out at a buddies house while everyone just complemented the Z.

What a day. Hope everybody had a great Memorial Day. As a former Marine that served during the first Gulf War I appreciate the sacrifice of my fellow veterans. So my day started off driving my Z to a family picnic with nephew as passanger. It is his 12th birthday. He loved the ride and the fact that he got to ride in my car. His step father drove his custom H3. Yes mine got more looks. LOL We ended up with about 20 people at the picnic. Unfortunatelly due to weather the local State park was infested with flies. Everybody said we had to leave there. Luckily I have a house with an acre of land. So everybody left there and came to my house. Had a great time, eventhough I don't have my pool or hot tub up and running yet. The kids loved the trampoline. Makes you appreciate family. And I appreciated the fact that when we where done all the kids went with thier parents, LOL peace and quiet again. :ughdance:

Oh and my Z needs a good 2 day polish, clay and wax. Anybody do that kind of work for free LOL J/K:ugh2:

Gave Zena a 2nd coat of CG 50/50...made flake pop out more...

Drove her to park for pics then drove to buddies house to pick up more Menzerna polish then to O'Reilly's to pick a Wix filter for the Odyssey :) Got home then worked on the front yard with the wife and kid while staring at Zena in the garage....

All in all, a great memorial holiday.

yah, i still can't believe i curbed it. :shakes head: im very careful in parking lots and drive slow but must've been from fatigue (lack of sleep working on the Ings splitter all week long... :icon14: )


yep. that's how i play this game. :p i also wanted a spare just in case i get a flat i didnt want to have to wait for the tire to be replaced or plugged. it's not unusual for me to have one extra wheel front and back especially that these tires are asymetrical i can use it on either side. :p

the curbed tire that's on there right now appears to be okay with the cement i used on the 2mm or so thick rim protector area, but i didnt want to keep driving on it as another hit in the same spot could potentially disturb the fibers inside. i could not see the fibers so im 99% sure it's fine but why cheap out on some DW tires which are only $240 each when my car cost considerably more??

Doing a clay tx later tonight after a houston trip left crap on the front bumper.
