I have to ask: why is it that when everyone posts clips of a drive by or pull away they have to "launch" and scream by at 5k+ rpm? While that's nice to hear from time to time..it gets old..quick. I'm more interested in hearing an exhaust under normal driving conditions. Ok, I'll get off my soapbox now.:ugh2: |
I used Meguiar's Ultimate Quick Detail to remove some water spots that were being baked by the Texas sun. Nothing else to report...

Went to a mini car meet, and posed with Steve's (srbrubak) blue Z, then checked out some other cool cars including a Hennesey Camaro and a Kennebell blown SRT8.

eerrr... i must get DSLR. :D nice picts, G2Z!
nynhex- good job taking off spots. spots can potentially lead to paint etching. :icon14: so best to remove asap. :) happytheman- i agree. not sure why they need to go down a 35mph road at 60mph+ to show off some fake exhaust...which doesnt even sound that good cause of the silencers the installer forgot to remove. :D hahaha yah, you know which clip im talking about. :p ;) |

Also, I now have 1213 miles on Zena.... WOOHOOOOOO.... I finally rev'd it to about 7k rpm last night. Still didn't get to redline yet, but I don't think I need to :) Zena stays covered in the garage today.... strong storms in the area :icon14: |
Tanooki- check out the DiNoc thread in the interior/exterior section. I posted quite a bit in there. :p

Yah, definitely keep zena at home if u know storm's coming. |
I was up late last night and was rewarded with an obstruction free drive home. What a great car we all have here.

A guy complimented me on my 370 "zed". I said "Thanks, are you from Canada?" since I detected no accent.
His answer : "Top Gear". Can't complain he isn't speaking English. :icon17: |

i told him 'so do you.' |
Ran into a bigger badder nismo. Twin turbo. As strong as he pulled away from me I WANT ONE.

I have 18" resonators...I got to drive behind my car which people rarely get to do, car sounded much quieter than I anticipated. I am maybe doing a sound clip this weekend, I'll be sure to hit you up. I will say it sounds nice and tame with 18" resonators, amplifies the VQ and downshifting is where I feel the quality really shines |

Got my Stillen 24r OC today! Whoop whoop! :happydance:
http://www.the370z.com/members/super...oc-finally.jpg Now to figure out if I can install this bad boy myself. The instructions included are for a G which, no matter how similar the cars are, is a little unsettling for a newbie like myself. And I've seen a few really good DIY threads but they either install it in front of the steering cooler (I want it the other side) and/or they cut holes into a metal plate through which to pass the lines, but I don't want to do that if it's not necessary. Which it isn't - I know two guys in Vegas who have this kit and never cut anything. So I need a driver's side install DIY with no cutting on this kit. Is there one I've missed? |
