I've owned two NA and one NB Miata. They weren't quick off the line, but they were a lot of fun to throw around due to their low weight. In that case, it was fun > fast. Now, the Z-R, even with the AT, brings the fun and fast together into a nice package. Fun + fast = fantastic!
Honestly, anything faster than the Z would be detrimental to my driving record. ![]()
