Also working on Stebel 300Hz truck horn install. Horn is mounted - just need to wire it up.
That new HORN will come in handy on mopac. I would love to see the reaction of the other driver when that thing goes off!!!!!

Let me know when horn working to swing buy and listen to it. Did you remove front bumper to do so?

Need to monitor my oil levels for a while. Did an oil change back in May when I added a 34 row oil cooler. Everything worked beautifully.

I just did a new oil change this morning and realized the old oil was only about 2.5 quarts. The car never ran rough, I never noticed any oil leaks, and no stains on the zpeed undershroud. I pray the engine isn't burning oil that fast. I added 6.5 quarts for it to reach the full line on the stick.

Went for a drive and everything appeared fine. I have a block off plate on the cooler currently and temps were at 215F. this was normal 60mph cruising without any launches. I don't believe temps have gotten that high before with the cooler.

Are you running a heavier oil than before? When I started running 0 40 my average temps went up. Mine will run in the 200 to 210 range.

No. Still using mobile 1 full synthetic 5w30. I am going to take off the block off plate and see how drastically it cools afterwards. I'm just more concerned about where 4 quarts of oil disappeared when I changed it this morning.

It's a lazy evening here. Stuck in the house due to the rain from now tropical storm Florence. I ordered Produxa earlier in the week and applied a coat to the Z. We'll see how it holds up in the coming days and weeks. My car is white so it's hard to see any difference in the shine, but it did a nice job on my carbon fiber rear diffuser.

I think i was doing 0w-30.

I always burn a bit of oil. Never hurts to check every fill up.

I don't know what your camera looks like or where you plan on mounting it, but I thought I'd throw this is in if it helps at all.
I bought this unit and with a little modification, I was able to put my Kenwood camera in place of the one that was included.

Same one I have. I just popped out the camera that came with the that and replaced it with the Gentex mirror camera. A touch of silicone and it hasnt moved in a few years. Ian, it is really simple install using that camera mount. Pop off old light cover and this one is a direct fit. The wires are easily fed into the car through a grommet. I bet you could do it yourself.

With no wiring skills I went with this one. My android auto deck supports wiring to the back of the radio.
