Great follow up. So it sounds like after cleaning up the grouding and making sure VVEL is working, the likely culprit is the ECU. Good to know!

Had to buy ANOTHER battery for the Z. I bought one in 2022, so the RED TOP battery only lasted 4 years before having issues charging. I had it hooked to a tender that would charge for awhile and then kept telling me to reverse connections. The battery would'nt charge correctly. This must be the issues with AGM batteries because I just replace my motorcycle battery AGAIN after a couple years. NEVER had issues with regular batteries in vehicles until I started using AGM batteries. There goes 300 bucks. 150 for the motorcycle battery less than a month ago as well.

Anyone have issues with batteries? I had the original battery in my Harley for over 10 years and never hooked it up to a battery tender like the first 5 years. Would always start after winter just sitting.

I don't drive the Z until it's nice out, usually March until November, then it sits for a couple weeks in the garage, most of the time on a tender. Always on a tender during winter.

I am trying out the FULLTHROTTLE AGM battery. Went with a smaller version, since it weighs the same as oem. https://fullriverbattery.com/applications/automotive/

I believe I got the FT560. So far so good. Had it on the NOCO genius 10 all winter. No issues. Left unplugged for over a week, and start up no issues.

I htink they are still made in China, but another option for AGM users. Quality of build is good.

Had an Odyssey battery in my Power Wagon for years. Now have one in my Z for 2 years. And just put one in my Gladiator a few months ago.

Well, only had my Z back a couple weeks. Truck on I75 ran over some debris and tossed it into my lane. I had no choice but to white knuckle it and run it over.

Front end is definitely toast. Drivers side skirt and mudguard. Later some coolant sprayed from back side of engine bay, even landed on intake manifold. Thinking maybe a heater core? Got it on flatbed today to body shop… turns out it’s leaking fuel too. So not sure what damage is underneath the car. Just trying to eek out 300k miles here.
