I have seen guys use rigid conduit (industrial electrical conduit), but that would be so heavy.

And rigid conduit is waaaaay cheaper than $300+ dollars.

Ive been wanting to get rig-pros pole, but was waiting for summer... since you have 2 pieces you dont need that works peeerfect because i only use 2 poles too!

Im willing to pay $190 for the 2 sections (slightly more than half) + shipping.

Let me know, very interested. btw, we use the same items and i love every piece. the magic arm is awesome! ive even used it to hold onto while i hung the camera out the car while doing rolling shots on the highway. lol

I have the same cups he mentioned they would probably be strong enough to hold conduit but I'm a little scared to try with a nice camera hanging off the end lol.

my current setup is with conduit... its def heavy, and there are certain ways of configuring it that wont work, and it does flex quite a bit. :/
the most ive used is 3 pieces of 5" sections, 15 ft total, and its scary because the flex drop is baaad and you can tell it just wants to give.
