Nice shots. Do you mind sharing the materials used in your rig/boom?

forza370z 03-10-2014 11:00 PM

Looks really good. 20mm in the back 15mm up front?

Rangerz 03-10-2014 11:21 PM

Really nice work

Always wondered how to get the blurred background? Is that done on the camera or in post?

Do tell

X2

I have a rig setup as well and my boom has a little flex to it. Yours looks solid. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Pm works to if you want to keep it hush hush.

The pics turned out extremely well. Very nice.

Amazing shots.

I would also like to know the pole used. I have the cups still searching for camera mount.

Thank you .

i used 2 manfrotto 241 suction cups and i mounted 2 manfrotto super clamps to them. it was very hard to find the pole for the rig so i ended up purchasing it from rig pro on Facebook for $369. at the end of the pole i added a manfrotto magic arm friction arm with a super clamp on the end of it .
as far as triggering it i used a pair of pocket wizards that connected to the camera via the trigger port ( i forget the name of it ) .
basically drove the car at less than 1mph and wirelessly hit the button on the transmitter.
this was shot at 1 sec F18 with a canon 6D and a 17-40mm F4

it is done in camera , basically setting your aperture to f18 go capture lots of detail and at the same time setting the shutter speed to 1 sec to get the blurred background

Thanks for sharing the info. I can't pay that much for a pole though.
