After two months of having blue painter's tape on my OEM spoiler where my old add-on spoiler was originally glued to, I finally was able to source another Powertrix Mine's Style Add-on (a huge thank you to Charles @ Powertrix for communicating with me on getting a new one). I installed it the day I got back from my fall semester of school, so sometime earlier this month.

It's good as new, and seems like the carbon fiber weave on this piece may be more solid (at least it looks better than the last IMO). When installing the piece, I completely sanded down the edges of the OEM spoiler and cross-hatched the panel to help the adhesive really create a stronger bond with the Powertrix add-on.

It holds great and the install was pretty easy, but I didn't realize there was a gap where the OEM spoiler still showed underneath the add-on; this means that the white, sanded down body-panel was exposed underneath the add-on. I fixed it by using Dr. ColorChip's color-matched chip correction kit, and now you cant even tell the surface of the OEM spoiler was sanded down (unless you look real hard at it, LOL). No one will know

Now that the car is back to looking like its' beautiful self, and thanks to some holiday gifts, I am now looking at getting the Z tinted! Will keep you guys updated on the progress of that and what type of tint setup I go for.

Happy Holidays, catch you on the next one!
