Just to make sure I have this right, you're still using the stock 370 Throttle Bodies, and the intakes for a 370, no matter the brand, will work with this?

Just noticing the missing strut bar... is this a lost cause or can it be re-mounted?

the intake pipes from Stillen had to be cut by 8cm on the passenger side and 6cm on the driver side. I have not yet verified fitment with the completly stock intake system.
For the strut bar this can NOT be simply re-installed but as I track my car very often I will modify it so there will be a strut bar again. In front of the intake plenum you have some room where a strut bar can be placed, just needs a bit welding ![]() yes, stock throttle bodies have been used they fit the GTR manifold no problem, just need the gaskets from R35 - even the bolts are the same. So does the 370Z intake temp sensor, even the cable connector can be used without soldering longer wires, you just have open the wire channel behind the engine and pull out the cable a bit so it reaches the sensor facing in the opposit direction. only thing I did was to eliminate the TB water cooling so the engine bay looks cleaner and less pipes are around. Chris

not to derail this thread but from eyeballing it should fit a Z33 easily...
that's from using the oil filler cap as a reference? ![]()

I'm pretty sure it will fit the VQ35HR - if the lower intake manifold and the upper intake plenum is exchangeable between Z33 and Z34 it should be a no brainer !

Very nice especially how you cleared the oil cap. Did it change the engine sound in any way? That's pretty cool how you were able to keep the stock fuel rail.
Assuming my engine can stay in one piece after a tune to about 500 whp, I wouldn't mind making the switch. However, if I do that I'd love to get new spark plugs, injectors, EBC, 3" DP and exhaust, and a tune to at least 500 whp while keeping the block stock. What's holding me back is no more work on this car for at least another year due to priorities.

thank you guys for the positive feedback ! Tomorrow I will try to do a longer test drive for about 120km (~75miles) so the ECU is able to regain its learn tables.
After that I unfortunately have to make a break with this project for about a week as I'm flying to Egypt (diving the red sea) but I promise to put it on the dyno straight after my return in a good week. Please bear with me, the results are near and I'm at least as curious to see dyno numbers as you are. And promised I will post the outcome regardless of what it will be. If I keep stock power or even loose power (with NA) I probably have at least a (very expensive) engine bay styling upgrade and can claim to have the only 370Z with a GT-R manifold installed and actually working in the world ![]() But the hope is still alive and chances are not too bad it could work out - fingers crossed ! Just for your reference my last dyno results before the manifold project were 311HP to the wheels and 388NM / 286lbf/ft ! Modifications: 2.5" dual exhaust system, 300cpi race catalysts, stillen ss exhaust headers, stillen gen3 intake, NST pulleys, no tune ! Chris
