Day 5 update:

The BOV's and MAF sensor housing are now welded in place:

The turbo also arrived today, and now I am going to start working on the exhaust side of things. I made a quick little bracket to support the turbo in place while the fabrication of the exhaust piping is taking place.

I take it this design will work the same with auto and manual transmissions? Such as clearances?

I have asked this question already, and the answer is no. It will not fit with auto

Those are some of the driving forces behind this project. If one wanted to go back to stock, it would take a day to remove the kit, put the stock intakes back in, install the cats and call it a day. You would never be able to tell the car had a turbo kit on.

I think ost would agree that if you can install a set of test pipes on this car, you can also install this kit.

just when I thought I had made up my mind about going supercharger due to ease of installation/remove back to stock incase I need to in future for sale etc.. this pops up

will this be compatible with RHD? also will you be shipping kits overseas?

Yes it will come with a base map, but as with any other system it is to get you to a pro tuner. Every car is different, different fuels, different elevations, exhaust systems..ect. It is by no means a map that one should go and do a bunch of WOT runs.

This will be much easier to install than any s/c kit, and there are not slipping belts to worry about. Not to mention the torque.

I have no idea if this kit would fit a RHD. You Aussies need to figure things out and start driving on the right side of the road....

Is the started on the left side or the right side of the engine?

hahaha yeah yeah...

not sure will have to check, pretty sure everything is the same place for motor, just steering components on other side obviously, when you get closer with a completed kit, can provide some photo's from above/below the car if it will help, I'll check where all your piping runs as well and see if it could collide with anything.

Cheers for the answer, guess we will wait and see for now

I think the best thing about this set up.

I really like the sounds of this.

it's so nice to see someone who is building a complete kit that is doing daily updates and keeping everyone in the loop of progress and issues. Can't wait to see the beautiful welds when the exhaust pipes are being made

Too bad this kit will not fit an auto. If you ever made one for an auto I would seriously consider swapping out my supercharger for this.
