Default Ron's better late than never journal. Lots of Pics!

Ok so I've been postponing this because I never thought I would mod fast enough as to keep a nice journal. Well I've made quite a few things in the last 10 months and there is BIG step coming in the next few so I figured I'd start my journal.

Pics of the car at the dealership. I wasn't even on the country yet. I was still in Costa Rica getting everything straight and my old Z32 sold before moving back to Houston. Needless to say I lost many hours of sleep when I was sent this pictures since I still had a couple of weeks left in CR before traveling:

Default The beginning

And then the mod bug bit me.. again..First thing I added was a GTR start button, Illuminated kick plates, Fairlady Z badge and tint... Not very interesting so no pics of that...

After a while I could not stand the stock ride height, so I bought SPC front and back camber arms and toe bolts (thanks to THMotorsports), Swift springs (Thank you Kami) and Z1 20mm spacers. I don't have pics of the parts since I was too excited to complete the install but this is the end result:

I also added these to my wheels thanks to Mike!

Default Chrome is so yesterday!

After the springs I wanted to do my headlights. MRWorks was charging too much so I decided to use the DIY posted here and well, do it myself. I went with just a satin black housing and left everything else stock. It came out looking awesome, its not overboard.

Silver fuel gauge needed to be dealt with, I saw Simota's black overlay but I wanted something better than a sticker...So my good friend (we haven't met, but I can tell he's a cool dude) Digitonium had this for sale. It's made by Black Cat Customs. He had one made for his interior lighting project and this one to spare. I followed his DIY and bam! This is the outcome, I love it!:

Default Breathe and Rumble!

At this point I already had my FI exhaust ordered and had to wait 9 weeks to get it. I timed things so that I could install my intakes at the same time. So thanks to Baker Tuning (Thank you Paul!) I got my set of Gen 3's the same day the exhaust arrived:

Exhaust arrived while installing the intake and I tackled it the next day:

I reached the point where I could not stand the factory audio combined with cabin noise. So I purchased a Sony XNV-770BT, a rear view camera, Axxess ASWC and a set of Alpine Type S speakers. Thanks to BigAudioFanat, Equinox and all the other guys that answered my questions about the equipment and wiring:

This is one nicely done Z. Great stuff Ron About the Stillen intake, did you have to do something else besides cutting for the Nismo? I'm looking to get the G3 and would like to hear about any issues you ran into with the install.

Just the cutting that Torpedo mentions here: Stillen Gen 3 Intake + Nismo - My Install Results I've heard people have issues with vibrations and noises, to avoid that make the hole on the ducting big enough and place some kind of pad where the tubing touches any metal. I used thick 3M double sided tape. No issues at all Intakes might be for sale soon
