just spent the better half of my night reading through this thread - VERY IMPRESSIVE!!

I have a G37 6MT Coupe and I hope it FITs because I am so getting this kit once i save up a bit. It's going to be winter here soon. this will be a nice winter/spring project.! I hope you are still making them when the time comes!

ps. recommendation on clutch? I read JMac88 running Specialty Z 6-puck. Is that on stock flywheel?

I just installed a South Bend Stage 3 with DXD flywheel and heavy duty CSC. Im told it will handle this power with ease. I'll find out for sure next spring.

Yes, water lines can be coupled, and it will just cycle through. There is no thermostatic plate. I could not find a low profile oil filter take off plat with a thermostat.


EDIT:

It appears that an inline thermostat can be added to the system. It would be about $130, including the extra short hose that would be needed to go form the new oil filter location to the thermostat.




I hope to test fit this on a G37 in the spring. I am very very positive that it will be a direct bolt on just like with the Z.

I would think, particularly for people up your way, you would definitely want a thermostat. Want to get the oil up to temp as fast as possible. Do you have info on the in-line part you found?

These cars are not being driven up here during winter, and I will look at the whole thermostat idea in a couple of days when I do another install. Sorry I do not have a part number for the unit I had found.

It was rated to flow 20 gal/min, and open at 180deg F.

Boosted Performance

Well, there is another Z on the lift in the garage now. It arrived last night, and with a bit of effort we were able to get it up the icy driveway and on the lift.

The install starts tonight, although I have drained the oil and removed the oil filter last night already. I will be taking a thousand pictures again with this install during every step, so I can perfect the installation manual. I will also keep track of the time it takes to do this from scratch.

The F.I exhaust is available with the kit. Prices without the Y-section is $955 + shipping, since that section is not needed with the turbo kit..

I am assuming that this is without resonators? For anyone considering resonators, its very quite.

Anyone want to trade their non-resonated section with my resonated haha.
