And yes, the kit makes excellent power all the way to 7500rpm. There is another dyno with a bit more boost (9.12psi I think) and it made 550whp at that boost pressure. The tuners (who have tuned a lot of these car from TT to s/c kits) could not believe how flat the torque was. The kit clearly works very well, and this is the efficiency of the twin scroll that I have been preaching for a while now. It really is the best way to boost a car. Heck even the new BMW's now go with a single twin scroll vs. the old TT kits. EDIT: found the 550whp dyno pull: ![]() Link: http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...scan0001-1.jpg Looks like peak power was made at 9psi. NO. Quote:
Shoot me a PM and we can go on from there. That would be awesome! All the base maps are provided by Vince@R/T, and this would really help with diling things in on that end.

Payment sent!
Am I the first one who will be receiving the kit? This is such a perfect gift for my baby's 2nd birthday (even though it is late by a month, so I need to make up for it! lol)

The flat torque is nice, however for entertainment purposes it's at 411. With my Gtm TT kit on my graph the lowest point is around 411. But the highest point is 496. I'm still very happy with what I have.

At peak power of 550whp, the boost was 9psi, not 12psi. Quote:

I have noticed that GTM dyno charts are very aggressive early in the rpm range. You can tell that by the way the torque goes up out of the gates, again, early in the RPM range. A lot of tuners will avoid this on stock blocks because it is a lot of stress on the engine. If you look at the 550whp chart you can see that the boost is already at 10psi by 3750rpm, so if the timing was advanced the torque would have shot way up in the 400's. Then as the RPM's go up, the torque would taper off. Instead, a nice smooth, flat torque curve is simply easier on the engine, prolonging it's life. EDIT: Here is a perfect example of the same kit with a different tuner: http://wrxatlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29246 Note the torque curve between 3500 and 4500rpm...easing into it. I I am not arguing your numbers at all, or the kit it performs great. Just noting how timing/tuner have a large role to play when it comes to presenting the final graph/numbers.

Very nice Sasha, I been a fan/follower from over on my350. Was just playing with the poster, tried to add for entertainment purpose only lol. Not trying to attack you or anything at all.
The kit looks great, great design. I can't wait to see one of these rolling around Miami. Would be fun ![]() |

I should also mention that I am working with Tony at F.I to make the purchase of the F.I exhaust system possible with the kit.
There would be a non resonated option with the turbo kit, as well as a resonated. With the turbo acting like a large muffler, some of you may not like the dead silent 500whp car. With the resonators removed, the tone would most definetly be more agressive.

I will do my best. The guys are F.I are great, spoke to Tony for about 15 minutes a short while ago....very nice guy, and has a lot of ideas/views as I do when it comes to taking care of his customers. I am sure we will come up with something soon...they are very busy as well.
As for those still following this...a couple of more morning shots: ![]() ![]() Have to go out and get some 3" exhaust clamps for this one: ![]()
