I am quite clueless on the engineering/mechanical bits, but am I wrong in assuming that if one SC has a parasitic loss of say 50hp, wouldn't a twin supercharged system

I am quite clueless on the engineering/mechanical bits, but am I wrong in assuming that if one SC has a parasitic loss of say 50hp, wouldn't a twin supercharged system have a parasitic loss of 100hp? So, would it be therefore be "better" to have an SC & Turbo set-up, SC for low end and on-demand power & Turbo for the high power figures?
Either way, I am still very keen to see the finished product! ![]() |
